Idaho Strategic Resources operates the wholly owned Golden Chest Mine in Idaho’s Murray Gold Belt. It processes the ore into gold concentrate at New Jersey Mill, which it majority-owns and manages. H&H Metals Corporation buys the concentrate for shipment to overseas smelters. In 2025, H&H bought all of the company’s concentrate and supplied nearly all its gold-sales revenue; H&H is also a shareholder. A small portion of gold sales comes from doré, a partly refined gold product sold to a western U.S. refinery.
Alongside gold production, the company holds exploration properties, including the Mineral Hill, Lemhi Pass and Diamond Creek rare-earth projects near Salmon, Idaho. These are exploration projects, distinct from its producing gold business.
Earnings depend on how much gold the company recovers from its ore and the selling price relative to mining and processing costs. Operations require mining and environmental permits, while overseas concentrate sales depend on trade rules allowing buyers and smelters to continue purchasing.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Idaho Strategic Resources, Inc.’s results hinge on gold prices and Golden Chest output; H&H Metals Corporation bought 98% of its gold sales in 2025, while its Idaho rare-earth projects add separate exploration exposure.
Integra Resources Corp. and Idaho Strategic each depend on one producing gold mine and hold Idaho mineral projects, so gold prices and western U.S. mining economics matter to both. Integra’s Florida Canyon output is the clearest production measure to watch: it supplied all of Integra’s gold in 2024 and 2025.
Contango Silver & Gold Inc. and Idaho Strategic both concentrate their producing business on one gold mine, but Contango receives cash distributions from its 30% Manh Choh joint-venture interest rather than gold-sales revenue like Golden Chest generates for Idaho Strategic. Watch those production-linked distributions, not revenue, when comparing the two.
McEwen Inc. and Idaho Strategic share gold-price and western North American mining exposure, producing gold-bearing material for outside processors. McEwen sends unrefined gold-silver bars, called doré, to refiners and concentrated ore to smelters, making these products the relevant comparison with Idaho Strategic’s gold concentrate and doré sales.
i-80 Gold Corp.’s Nevada gold extraction and development share gold-price and western U.S. mining exposure with Idaho Strategic’s Idaho operations. Its processing plans are worth watching: i-80 expects to use both its own and outside facilities through 2027, unlike Idaho Strategic’s Golden Chest ore processing at its managed New Jersey Mill.
Coeur Mining, Inc. and Idaho Strategic sell gold concentrate to processors, so gold prices affect both companies’ mining margins. Coeur’s Kensington concentrate sales under a long-term purchase agreement offer the closest product comparison with Idaho Strategic’s concentrate revenue.
Alamos Gold Inc. and Idaho Strategic both mine gold, making gold prices and production efficiency common drivers of their operating results. Alamos’s output from Island Gold, Young-Davidson and Mulatos provides a three-operation comparison with Idaho Strategic’s single producing Golden Chest mine.
IAMGold Corporation and Idaho Strategic operate gold mines, so gold prices and production performance shape both companies’ earnings. Watch production at IAMGOLD’s Côté Gold and Westwood in Canada and Essakane in Burkina Faso as comparisons for Golden Chest, rather than treating its exploration projects as current output.
Equinox Gold Corp. sells unrefined gold bars, called doré, while Idaho Strategic sells gold concentrate; higher gold prices benefit both. Equinox’s refined gold goes to international bullion banks, traders and refiners, and it says it does not depend on one purchaser—a useful contrast with Idaho Strategic’s concentrated gold-sales customer base.
Kinross Gold Corporation and Idaho Strategic mine gold for the bullion supply chain, sharing gold-price and North American mining exposure. Kinross refines its unrefined gold-silver bars before selling gold to banks and refiners; its Fort Knox–Manh Choh, Bald Mountain and Round Mountain output provides the North American operating comparison.
Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd.’s gold sales reflect spot prices, giving it a price driver that also strongly affects Idaho Strategic’s gold sales and profits. Watch Agnico’s gold selling prices alongside per-ounce production costs to distinguish price gains from the cost of mining.
Newmont Corporation and Idaho Strategic both produce gold, with profits shaped by gold prices, the gold content of their ore and mining costs. Newmont’s reports on ore grades and energy, labor and equipment costs offer a broader comparison for the higher-grade H-Vein ore that helped Idaho Strategic’s 2025 margins.
Hecla Mining Company shares precious-metal price exposure and northern Idaho mining conditions with Idaho Strategic through its gold and silver business and Lucky Friday mine. Hecla sells metal-bearing concentrates to smelters, traders and processors; Lucky Friday’s operating news is the regional comparison to watch.
Aris Mining Corporation sells unrefined gold bars to refiners while Idaho Strategic sells gold concentrate, making gold prices and mine performance important to both. Watch Aris’s Segovia production ramp-up after its processing-plant expansion as a comparison for how mine output translates into gold sales.
Gold Fields and Idaho Strategic both credited higher realized gold prices with stronger financial performance. Gold Fields’s average gold selling price rose 45% to US$3,496 per ounce in 2025, making its selling-price results a direct comparison for Idaho Strategic’s concentrate sales.
Barrick Mining Corporation and Idaho Strategic share substantial gold-price exposure, but Barrick earns from copper as well as gold while Idaho Strategic earns from gold concentrate. Barrick’s gold-mine results are therefore the closer comparison; copper earnings from Lumwana add a different driver.
Centerra Gold Inc.’s gold and gold-copper mines share gold-price and mining-cost exposure with Idaho Strategic’s Golden Chest. Its Öksüt gold mine and Mount Milligan gold-copper mine are the relevant operating comparisons, rather than its Langeloth business that buys and upgrades molybdenum concentrate for industrial customers.
Pan American Silver Corp. shares Idaho Strategic’s gold-price exposure, but its mining sales span silver and gold as well as zinc, lead and copper. Its gold business is the relevant comparison with Idaho Strategic’s gold-concentrate revenue; its other metals can move results differently.
Royal Gold Inc. shares Idaho Strategic’s metal-price exposure without operating mines: it pays upfront for rights to buy mine output at agreed prices or receive a share of production or revenue, known as streams and royalties. Those income lines offer a price comparison, but Royal Gold generally does not bear the mine operating costs that Idaho Strategic does.
OR Royalties Inc. receives a share of proceeds from the Canadian Malartic gold complex rather than mining gold itself as Idaho Strategic does, linking both to gold prices and mine output. Watch its Canadian Malartic royalty receipts as the concrete production-linked income comparison.
Franco-Nevada shares Idaho Strategic’s precious-metal price exposure by financing mines in return for payments or metal deliveries, rather than producing gold itself. In 2025, 91% of its revenue came from production-based royalties and streams not adjusted for operators’ operating costs, so its margins are not a like-for-like comparison with Golden Chest’s.
Wheaton Precious Metals Corp. sells metals bought from mines, while Idaho Strategic sells its own mined gold, so realized prices and mine volumes drive both. Wheaton pays upfront and an agreed amount for each unit delivered under metal-purchase agreements; watch deliveries and selling prices rather than treating it as a mine operator.
Triple Flag Precious Metals Corp. shares Idaho Strategic’s metal-price and mine-output exposure by paying for rights to buy metals or receive mine production, revenue or profit shares, rather than mining gold itself. Its metal-purchase streams and revenue-based royalties generally avoid direct mine operating and capital costs, so those revenues provide a different-cost comparison with Idaho Strategic’s gold sales.
Newmont Corporation earningsNEM
Newmont’s ore grades and energy, labor and equipment costs offer a broad comparison for the higher-grade H-Vein ore and mining costs behind Idaho Strategic Resources’ margins.
Watch how Newmont’s reported ore grades move alongside its unit costs; the companies’ cost amounts are not directly comparable. Higher grades with controlled costs would show how better ore can help offset mining expenses, while weaker grades or rising costs would leave Idaho Strategic Resources’ margins more dependent on its own ore grade and cost control.
Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd. earningsAEM
Agnico Eagle’s gold selling prices and per-ounce production costs will show whether the price tailwind is outpacing mining costs, a useful comparison for Idaho Strategic Resources’ gold-concentrate business.
Read Agnico Eagle’s gold selling prices alongside its per-ounce production costs, focusing on how each changes rather than comparing cost levels directly. Stronger prices with controlled costs would show that the shared gold-price driver is supporting miners’ margins; weaker prices or faster cost growth would mean Idaho Strategic Resources also needs its own sales volume, ore grade and costs to hold up.
Fed Interest Rate Decision
For Idaho Strategic, a Fed decision signals whether economy-wide borrowing costs may rise or fall, affecting the cost of new loans or refinancing alongside its $2.33 million of equipment and property notes, which carry rates of 7.00%–8.05%.

If it comes in above expectations
If the policy rate is above expectations, higher economy-wide rates could make future borrowing or refinancing costlier for Idaho Strategic, although its profile does not identify interest expense as a main operating driver.
If it comes in below expectations
If the policy rate is below expectations, lower economy-wide rates could make future borrowing or refinancing cheaper for Idaho Strategic, although its profile does not identify interest expense as a main operating driver.
Coeur Mining, Inc. earningsCDE
Coeur Mining’s Kensington concentrate sales show how a purchase agreement turns mined material into revenue, a close product comparison for Idaho Strategic Resources’ gold concentrate.
Watch Coeur Mining’s concentrate sales and related revenue, while keeping in mind that its long-term purchase agreement is not Idaho Strategic Resources’ sales arrangement. Stronger sales would show that concentrate is still being converted into revenue through processors; weaker sales would make Idaho Strategic’s own sales volume and reliance on H&H more important to check, but would not show that H&H has changed its buying.
Equinox Gold Corp. earningsEQX
Equinox Gold’s sales to multiple buyers contrast with Idaho Strategic Resources’ 2025 reliance on H&H, putting the risks of buyer concentration in view.
Check whether Equinox Gold sells gold to multiple buyers and whether those sales hold up. A spread of buyers with steady sales shows that Equinox is not relying on a single purchaser; weaker sales would show that a diversified buyer base alone cannot ensure sales. The contrast matters because H&H accounted for 98% of Idaho Strategic Resources’ gold sales in 2025, so its own sales and buyer disclosures still determine how much that reliance matters.
Idaho Strategic Resources, Inc. earningsThis company
Idaho Strategic Resources’ report will show whether Golden Chest’s gold output and per-ounce costs let the company turn gold prices into stronger margins.
Read ounces sold and realized gold prices alongside cost per ounce. Steady sales and prices with controlled costs would show that Golden Chest ore processed at the New Jersey Mill is still producing a healthy margin; falling sales or rising costs would show that output, ore grade or mining costs are eroding the benefit of gold prices.
