About ApexTrader

From information to a clear view
Apex Intelligence brings together prices, news, earnings, filings and economic data to explain changes in the market and in companies, with the reasoning behind its views.
Why we built ApexTrader
Our background is in fintech, AI, data engineering and trading systems, including products for individual investors. There is more to read every day and limited time for research. We built ApexTrader to do the work of organizing and analyzing that information, so readers can spend their time understanding it and making decisions.

- The facts
Revenue for the second quarter of fiscal 2027 was $96.2 billion, up 106% from a year earlier. Data center revenue was $89.0 billion, up 117%.
- How to read it
AI demand is still strong, but memory prices have risen more than the company expected. Gross margin was 75% in the second quarter, and the company expects it to fall to about 71%–72% in the fourth.
Put simply: of every $100 in revenue, about $75 was left after the direct cost of the products. The company expects that to shrink to about $71–72 by the fourth quarter.
- What to watch
Whether higher prices can offset rising memory costs, and when that margin settles.
How we research
- Sources you can check. Key figures and important information keep their source and date wherever possible, so you can go back to the original material.
- Facts apart from interpretation. What has happened, and what is our reading of it: we try to keep the line between the two clear.
- Views that update. When new facts come in, the earlier view should change with them.
We write in language anyone can follow. Whether something matters is for the evidence to decide.
