Equinox Gold operates wholly owned gold mines in Canada, the United States and Nicaragua. It extracts gold from ore and produces partly refined gold bars, known as doré. After refining, the gold is sold mainly to international bullion banks, traders and refiners. Gold sales generate almost all revenue. Sales are concentrated among a few customers, with one accounting for most revenue, although gold has a worldwide market and the company says it does not depend on any particular purchaser.
Greenstone in Ontario and the Nicaragua operations supply the largest revenue contributions. Valentine in Newfoundland and Labrador and Mesquite in California also produce gold. Greenstone and Valentine are still increasing output toward their designed capacity, so earnings depend on their operating progress as well as gold prices and mining and processing costs.
Land access and permits also determine which assets can operate. Los Filos in Mexico remains indefinitely suspended after a community land-access agreement expired; future development depends on resolving access and permitting matters. At Castle Mountain in California, gold recovery from previously mined ore continues, but mining is suspended while the planned expansion seeks permits.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
IAMGold Corporation and Equinox Gold both mine gold for sale, with margins at their large Canadian mines—Côté Gold and Greenstone—depending on gold prices and successful ramp-ups. Watch Côté Gold’s production and costs as a comparison for Greenstone’s progress toward full capacity.
Alamos Gold and Equinox Gold both produce gold in Ontario and develop Canadian mining capacity, so gold prices and project execution shape both businesses’ returns. Alamos’s construction progress at Lynn Lake offers a comparison for Equinox’s Canadian growth projects, rather than a source of current gold production.
Agnico Eagle and Equinox Gold both operate Canadian gold mines, making Agnico’s results a comparison for gold-selling margins and regional operating costs. Agnico traditionally sells its gold at spot prices; watch its gold revenue and Canadian mine costs to separate the price benefit from operating performance.
B2Gold and Equinox Gold both sell mined gold to bullion-market buyers and face the costs of bringing new Canadian mines into steady production. Watch B2Gold’s Goose mine in Nunavut as a comparison for the production and cost challenges of Equinox’s Valentine ramp-up.
Kinross Gold and Equinox Gold both turn ore from Americas mines into partly refined gold bars, then sell refined gold into the international bullion market. Kinross’s Americas mines accounted for 76% of its 2025 gold-equivalent production, making that part of its results the closer operating comparison for Equinox.
Eldorado Gold and Equinox Gold both earn money from partly refined gold bars and operate Canadian gold assets alongside international mines and development projects. Eldorado’s Lamaque gold sales to Ontario refineries offer a closer comparison for Equinox’s gold business than Eldorado’s mixed-metal concentrate sales.
Newmont and Equinox Gold both produce gold across multiple mines, so higher bullion prices help sales while labor, energy and equipment costs pressure margins. Watch Newmont’s discussion of those mining costs for a comparison with the cost pressures in Equinox’s gold operations.
Barrick Mining’s gold mines and Equinox Gold’s operations earn their margins from the gap between gold sale prices and mining costs. Focus on Barrick’s gold-mine results rather than its copper business when comparing whether higher gold prices are reaching Equinox’s operating earnings.
Centerra Gold and Equinox Gold both operate Canadian gold mines, but Equinox also owes Centerra payments triggered by Greenstone production under their earlier mine-interest sale. Centerra received the first payment in early Q4 2025 and expected the next two in 2026 and 2027; payment news is a concrete signal of Greenstone reaching production thresholds.
Versamet Royalties Corporation helped fund Equinox Gold upfront in return for future gold deliveries; Equinox now receives only 20% of spot gold prices in cash for each delivered ounce. The agreement with Versamet and another purchaser requires monthly deliveries of the greater of 500 ounces or 1.8% of Greenstone production, so watch deliveries as Greenstone ramps up.
Mako Mining’s San Albino and Equinox Gold’s Limon and Libertad operations all mine gold in Nicaragua, sharing exposure to gold prices and local regulatory and operating conditions. News from San Albino is the relevant part of Mako’s business to watch for conditions affecting Equinox’s Nicaraguan gold production.
Gold Fields and Equinox Gold both sell mined gold, and higher realized gold prices strengthened Gold Fields’ cash generation and Equinox’s revenue in 2025. Watch Gold Fields’ selling prices alongside gold sales to distinguish a shared price lift from changes in mine output.
AngloGold Ashanti and Equinox Gold both process mined ore into partly refined gold bars and sell refined output to bullion-market buyers. AngloGold’s direct sales to bullion banks provide a comparison for Equinox’s gold-sales business, whose buyers include international bullion banks, traders and refiners.
Vox Royalty Corp. receives metals or payments through purchased mining interests, and its acquired gold portfolio includes exposure to Equinox Gold’s Greenstone mine. Part of Vox’s receipts therefore depends on Greenstone production and gold prices; watch its Greenstone-related receipts rather than treating the whole portfolio as a measure of Equinox’s performance.
Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd. earningsAEM
Agnico Eagle’s report will show how much of the gold-price benefit in its revenue is offset by Canadian mine costs, offering a reference point for Equinox Gold’s Canadian gold operations.
Compare Agnico Eagle’s gold revenue with costs per ounce at its Canadian mines. Revenue growth with contained costs would show that operating spending is not consuming much of the gold-price benefit, a favorable price-and-cost reference for Equinox Gold’s Canadian mines. If rising costs absorb the revenue gain, mine margins remain under pressure; that alone does not establish that Equinox Gold’s costs moved the same way.
Alamos Gold Inc. earningsAGI
Alamos Gold’s report will show construction progress at Lynn Lake, giving readers a reference for execution on Equinox Gold’s Canadian growth projects.
Look at Alamos Gold’s reported construction progress at Lynn Lake. Progress on schedule would show a Canadian gold project moving toward future production as planned, a positive reference for Equinox Gold’s Canadian projects. Delays would underline how construction problems can postpone future output, but would not show that Equinox Gold’s projects are delayed too.
Fed Interest Rate Decision
The Fed’s decision on its benchmark interest rate matters to Equinox Gold because higher rates can raise interest expense on its variable-rate Credit Facility and leave less cash for mine operations and investment.

If it comes in above expectations
If the Fed’s rate is above expectations, higher borrowing costs may increase interest expense on Equinox Gold’s drawn Credit Facility, leaving less operating cash for mine operations and investment.
If it comes in below expectations
If the Fed’s rate is below expectations, lower borrowing costs may reduce interest expense on Equinox Gold’s drawn Credit Facility, leaving more operating cash for mine operations and investment.
Centerra Gold Inc. earningsCGAU
If Centerra Gold reports a payment tied to Greenstone production thresholds, its report will show readers something about Equinox Gold’s mine progress and the related payment obligation.
Watch whether Centerra Gold reports receiving a payment tied to a Greenstone production threshold. A confirmed payment means Greenstone reached the relevant threshold and Equinox Gold has the associated payment obligation. If no payment is reported, the threshold status or payment timing remains unclear; that alone does not show that mine production was weak.
IAMGold Corporation earningsIAG
IAMGOLD’s report will show production and costs at Côté Gold, offering a comparable-mine reference for readers following Equinox Gold’s Greenstone ramp-up.
Read IAMGOLD’s Côté Gold production alongside its costs per ounce. Rising output with costs stabilizing would show that ramp-up pressure at a large Canadian gold mine can ease, a constructive reference for Greenstone. If output fails to rise or costs remain high, the ramp-up may still be squeezing mine margins; it does not mean Greenstone has the same results.
Equinox Gold Corp. earningsThis company
Equinox Gold earns money by selling mined gold, and this report will show whether Greenstone and Valentine’s ramp-ups are widening per-ounce margins or whether costs are eating into the benefit.
Read production alongside the realized gold price per ounce and all-in sustaining cost (AISC) per ounce, which includes ongoing spending to sustain the mines. More output, a supportive realized price and steady or lower AISC would show the ramp-ups are turning gold prices into wider mine margins. Stalled output or rising AISC that absorbs the price benefit would show costs are still squeezing margins and the ramp-ups have yet to deliver stronger operating performance.
