Caesars Entertainment serves gamblers and travelers through casino properties in Las Vegas and other U.S. markets, alongside online betting and casino games. Gaming supplies most of its revenue, with slots contributing the largest share of casino revenue. It earns the difference between wagers received and winnings paid out, rather than the full amount customers bet. Hotels and dining are substantial additional sources of revenue and help attract guests, including vacationers and convention visitors who do not gamble.
Customers can also bet through Caesars Sportsbook and play casino games through Caesars Palace Online Casino and Horseshoe Online Casino. Caesars Rewards connects online wagering with visits to its properties: customers earn credits from qualifying gambling and other spending and redeem them for experiences across the business.
Revenue depends on how many customers visit or use its apps, how much they wager and spend, and how much Caesars retains after payouts. Gaming operations require licenses that must be maintained and renewed, while expansion into new online markets depends on local legalization and licensing.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Caesars’ results hinge on Las Vegas visitation, regional casino spending and digital wagering growth; Flutter’s FanDuel is another important digital rival to watch beyond this list.
MGM Resorts competes with Caesars for Las Vegas resort guests, regional casino players and online bettors through BetMGM versus Caesars Digital. Watch MGM’s Strip non-gaming revenue—typically more than half of its Strip revenue—for a read on the visitor spending that also matters to Caesars’ hotels and restaurants.
PENN Entertainment competes with Caesars for regional slot and table-game players and online sports betting and casino customers. Its regional gaming revenue is worth watching for pressure on the casino spending that supplies most of Caesars’ regional revenue.
Boyd Gaming competes with Caesars for casino players across multiple U.S. states and also offers online casino games. Watch gaming revenue at Boyd’s physical properties for a view of regional casino spending, rather than treating all of its online revenue as player spending.
Wynn Resorts competes with Caesars’ Strip properties for guests spending on casino play, hotel stays, dining and conventions. Watch Wynn’s Las Vegas results and convention calendar, since the timing of major conventions can move its revenue and Caesars also serves convention visitors.
DraftKings competes directly with Caesars Digital for sports bettors and online casino players in regulated North American markets. Watch how much it retains from settled sports bets after paying winners, known as hold: betting outcomes can move short-term revenue and profit at both operators.
Bally’s Corporation competes with Caesars for U.S. casino players and North American online sports betting and casino customers. Its Chicago resort development is worth watching as a source of additional casino supply, which Caesars says has outpaced demand in some areas.
Caesars depends on VICI Properties for the real estate of 18 casinos, paying rent while running the properties and bearing their operating and property costs. Caesars supplied 39% of VICI’s annualized rent at December 31, 2025; watch lease rent increases as a cost to Caesars, not a measure of casino guest spending.
Red Rock Resorts competes with Caesars for Las Vegas gaming and entertainment spending, but primarily serves local residents rather than Strip visitors. Its slot revenue—about 80% of casino revenue—offers a view of local player spending, not a direct read on Caesars’ tourist hotel demand.
Rush Street Interactive competes with Caesars Digital for online casino players and sports bettors, earning almost all its revenue directly from customers using its apps and websites. Watch customer retention and spending on its platform for signs of how strongly it is competing for those players.
Caesars depends on Gaming and Leisure Properties for the real estate of six casinos under long-term leases. The company owns and finances casino property and collects rent from operators, so its Caesars lease news concerns the premises Caesars uses, rather than the wagers its customers place.
Monarch Casino & Resort competes with Caesars for casino resort guests in Reno and Black Hawk, using rooms and dining to attract gaming play. Watch gaming activity at Atlantis and in the Black Hawk market, which Monarch identifies as the main drivers of its revenue and operating income.
Century Casinos competes with Caesars for North American regional casino customers through gaming, lodging, dining and racing offerings. Watch its separate U.S. East, Midwest and West results rather than one combined U.S. figure: Century stopped grouping those operations together after changing its assessment of their long-term economics in late 2025.
Boyd Gaming Corporation earningsBYD
Boyd Gaming's report will show how much customers are spending at its physical casinos, giving Caesars a read on regional casino demand.
Focus on gaming revenue at Boyd's physical casinos, not its online revenue as a measure of casino-floor spending. Stronger gaming revenue would signal firmer casino spending in those markets, a supportive sign for Caesars' Regional business; weaker revenue would signal possible pressure on similar spending, but Boyd's results do not establish what is happening in every Caesars market.
Caesars Entertainment, Inc. earningsThis company
Caesars' report will show whether its casinos and resorts are turning revenue into more earnings, and whether growth in its digital business is adding to them.
Compare revenue with Adjusted EBITDA, Caesars’ measure of profitability, for Las Vegas and Regional, then compare revenue with Adjusted EBITDA for Caesars Digital. If revenue and earnings strengthen in the first two segments and Digital also adds earnings, growth is converting into operating results; if revenue rises while earnings stall or fall, growth is not improving returns, so the key is whether each business turns customer spending into earnings.
MGM RESORTS INTERNATIONAL earningsMGM
MGM Resorts' report will show how much Las Vegas visitors spend beyond gambling, a read on demand for Caesars' hotels and restaurants.
Read MGM's Las Vegas Strip non-gaming revenue alongside its gaming revenue. Stronger non-gaming revenue would signal firmer visitor spending on hotels, dining and other services, a supportive sign for Caesars' related businesses; if non-gaming revenue weakens while gaming holds up, pressure may be concentrated in lodging and dining rather than casino play.
Rush Street Interactive, Inc. earningsRSI
Rush Street Interactive's report will show whether online players keep using and spending on its platforms, a read on the competition facing Caesars Digital.
Read customer retention alongside spending on Rush Street Interactive's platforms. If players stay and spending holds up, online operators are continuing to attract customers and Caesars Digital faces firm competition; weaker retention or spending would soften that signal, but would not show that customers have moved to Caesars.
VICI Properties Inc. earningsVICI
VICI Properties' report will show changes in rent on casinos leased to Caesars, indicating how much cash goes to its landlord, not how much casino guests spend.
Watch VICI's disclosed rent and rent increases as a cost Caesars bears to operate those properties, not as a measure of gaming demand. Larger increases mean more cash goes to the landlord and less operating flexibility for Caesars; smaller increases mean a lighter rise in that cost, not stronger casino spending.
Fed Interest Rate Decision
Caesars’ variable-rate debt means Fed rate decisions can change the interest it pays and the cash left for its casinos, hotels and digital wagering business.
Expected4.0%Last release4.0%
If it comes in above expectations
For Caesars, higher rates can raise payments on debt that reprices, leaving less cash for operations and investment.
If it comes in below expectations
For Caesars, lower rates can ease payments on debt that reprices and leave more cash for operations and investment.
DraftKings Inc. earningsDKNG
DraftKings' report will show how much revenue it retains from settled sports bets, revealing the outcome-driven swings that can also affect Caesars Digital's sportsbook.
Compare DraftKings' sports-betting handle, or amount wagered, with the amount retained after bets settle, known as hold. If handle is broadly steady and hold is higher, the operator keeps more revenue after settling bets, a supportive sign for Caesars Digital's sportsbook revenue; lower hold means less revenue per dollar wagered, but cannot by itself show customer losses because game outcomes cause short-term swings.
Non Farm Payrolls (Oct)
The jobs report counts people added to payrolls, and employment and income can affect how much customers spend on Caesars’ casinos, hotel stays and hospitality, as well as its labor costs.
More jobs and income can support Caesars’ visits, wagering and resort spending, but may add labor-cost pressure; weaker employment can curb customer spending while easing that pressure.
Retail Sales MoM (Oct)
Retail sales track what consumers spend at retailers; that spending can signal demand for discretionary outings and purchases that bring customers to Caesars’ casinos, hotels and hospitality venues.
Stronger retail spending can indicate consumers have more room for Caesars’ casinos, hotel stays and hospitality; weaker spending can point to less demand for those discretionary visits and purchases.
