Bally’s Corporation’s largest business is its U.S. casino and resort portfolio, followed by its European consumer gaming operations. Customers pay to gamble and, at its resorts, stay in hotels, dine and use other entertainment services. Gaming supplies most of the revenue: Bally’s retains the difference between wagers and player winnings, rather than earning the full amount bet. Its online operations include European sites such as Jackpotjoy and Virgin Games, and Bally Bet in North America. The UK supplies most of its revenue outside the United States. High-value players account for most casino revenue recorded through its player-tracking systems.
Bally’s also owns a majority interest in Intralot, which supplies lottery systems and operating services to lottery operators, including state-run lotteries under long-term contracts. This smaller business earns technology-service and licensing revenue, with service fees generally tied to machines in use or customers’ gaming revenue. Intralot also operates consumer lottery businesses.
Gaming licenses and local rules determine where and how Bally’s can operate. Its Rhode Island regulatory agreement specifically bars it and its subsidiaries from owning, operating, managing or supplying gaming-specific goods and services to gaming facilities in Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Hampshire, and in Rhode Island apart from Bally’s Twin River and Bally’s Tiverton.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Bally’s results hinge on regional U.S. casino spending and European online gaming, while its majority-owned, Athens-listed Intralot adds important global lottery and technology exposure.
PENN Entertainment and Bally’s compete for the same gamblers’ spending at regional U.S. casinos and on online casino games and sports bets. Watch PENN’s regional casino gaming revenue for a read on the spending pool Bally’s also serves.
Boyd Gaming competes with Bally’s for regional U.S. casino visitors and online casino players in the United States and Canada. Boyd Interactive’s online casino business is worth watching for competition facing Bally’s North American online offerings.
Caesars Entertainment competes with Bally’s for U.S. casino visitors, online casino players and sports bettors, with gambling its main source of revenue. Its Caesars Rewards program links casino visits and online wagering, making it worth watching for how Caesars competes for those customers’ spending.
Bally’s depends on Gaming and Leisure Properties for casino real estate: at December 31, 2025, its portfolio included 15 Bally’s-operated facilities plus the Chicago resort development site. The landlord earns rent from casino operators, so news about the Chicago site speaks directly to the property supporting Bally’s permanent resort project.
MGM Resorts International competes with Bally’s for regional U.S. casino customers and online gamblers in North America and Europe. Watch MGM’s regional gaming revenue rather than its Las Vegas Strip revenue: gambling supplies most regional revenue, while non-gaming activities supply more than half on the Strip.
DraftKings competes directly with Bally Bet for North American online sports bettors and casino players. Watch sports-betting revenue after winning bets are paid: DraftKings says betting patterns and event outcomes can move short-term results, so a revenue swing need not mean customers shifted away from Bally Bet.
Monarch Casino & Resort Inc’s Monarch Black Hawk competes directly with Bally’s three Black Hawk casinos for gamblers in the same Colorado market. Watch Monarch Black Hawk’s revenue and operating income, which depend primarily on gaming activity in that market rather than Monarch’s separate Reno resort.
Full House Resorts, Inc.’s Waukegan casino competes with Bally’s Chicago operation for Chicago-area gamblers; both companies also operate casinos in Colorado and Mississippi.
Century Casinos competes with Bally’s for regional North American casino customers, pairing gambling with lodging, dining and entertainment. Its separate U.S. East, Midwest and West results offer a more local view of the casino business than a single U.S. total.
Boyd Gaming Corporation earningsBYD
Boyd Gaming’s report will show how its online casino business is faring in the U.S. and Canada, a shared market with Bally’s North America Interactive.
Look at Boyd Gaming’s online casino revenue and related business results. Stronger results would point to resilient online gaming demand and spending in the shared market; weaker results would mean Bally’s faces a tougher market for attracting online casino players.
Monarch Casino & Resort Inc earningsMCRI
Monarch Casino & Resort’s report will show how its Black Hawk casinos are doing, a direct read on the Colorado market shared with Bally’s three casinos there.
Focus on Monarch Black Hawk’s gaming revenue and operating income, not its separate Reno resort. Both strengthening would show local gambler spending is supporting casino revenue and operating profit; both weakening would point to softer spending that could also pressure Bally’s Black Hawk casinos.
Fed Interest Rate Decision
The Fed’s decision sets the benchmark interest rate that influences borrowing costs, so higher rates can increase Bally’s interest expense on floating-rate debt and refinancing and leave less cash for casino operations and investment.
Expected4.0%Last release4.0%
If it comes in above expectations
Higher rates could raise interest costs on Bally’s floating-rate borrowing and future refinancing, leaving less cash for operating its casinos and funding projects such as the permanent Chicago resort.
If it comes in below expectations
Lower rates could ease interest costs on Bally’s floating-rate borrowing and future refinancing, leaving more cash available for casino operations and investment.
Gaming and Leisure Properties, Inc. earningsGLPI
Gaming and Leisure Properties’ report will offer clues about the Chicago resort development site that supports Bally’s permanent casino project.
Watch GLPI’s comments on the Chicago development site and project progress. Progress would indicate that the property arrangements and construction path for Bally’s permanent resort are advancing; delays or problems could defer project revenue and add cost or financing pressure.
DraftKings Inc. earningsDKNG
DraftKings’ report will show how much North American sports betting brings in after payouts, a read on the shared market Bally Bet serves.
Read sports-betting revenue with the caveat that event outcomes and betting patterns can move short-term results. Stronger revenue after payouts means wagering is bringing in more; weaker revenue could reflect lower activity or unfavorable outcomes, and by itself does not show that customers shifted to Bally Bet.
Full House Resorts, Inc. earningsFLL
Full House Resorts’ report will show how its Waukegan casino is doing; it competes with Bally’s Chicago for Chicago-area gamblers.
Look at Waukegan casino revenue and operating results. Stronger results would show the competing property attracting more local spending and a stronger competitive challenge for Bally’s Chicago; weaker results would soften that signal, but would not establish how Bally’s own casino performed.
Bally's Corporation earningsThis company
Bally’s report will show whether revenue from its casinos, interactive gaming and sports betting is turning into profit that covers operating costs.
Read segment revenue alongside Adjusted EBITDAR, a profit measure before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortization and rent. Revenue rising with stronger EBITDAR would show gaming activity is covering operating costs more effectively; revenue rising without better EBITDAR would mean costs or the mix of business are absorbing the gains.
