Company

Company overview

RUM Group connects video creators with viewers through Rumble.com, its free video-sharing and livestreaming platform. Most revenue comes from monetizing that audience, with advertising a major source. Advertisers pay to place ads or have creators promote their products; Rumble Advertising Center also sells advertising across outside publishers. Viewers pay for Rumble Premium’s ad-free viewing and exclusive content, or subscribe to creators through Locals.com. The company shares revenue with creators under its monetization arrangements.

The business depends on creators supplying content that keeps viewers engaged and attracts advertisers. Rumble is still in the early stages of monetizing its audience, and its concentration of news and political content can deter some advertisers. Tether has made a substantial advertising purchase commitment, making it an important commercial partner. Content laws also limit market access: Rumble has suspended service in France and Brazil amid disputes over local requirements.

Rumble Cloud sells computing, storage and related infrastructure to outside customers using capacity built to support Rumble Video. Customers pay usage fees or subscriptions, including fixed monthly prices for a defined pool of hardware resources. This newer business depends on a small number of initial customer relationships and key service providers.

Know what’s buried in RUM’s filings before you buy

The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.

Rumble’s monetization and cloud expansion also hinge on Tether’s $100 million advertising commitment and conditional commitment to buy up to $150 million of GPU services following the proposed Northern Data combination.

  • Alphabet challenges Rumble on two fronts: YouTube competes for video creators, viewers and advertisers, while Google Cloud competes for cloud customers. YouTube’s advertising revenue is the line to watch for competition over the budgets that pay Rumble’s video business.

  • Trump Media & Technology Group’s Truth Social and Truth+ compete with Rumble for free-speech-oriented audiences, advertisers and paying streaming subscribers. Its 2025 revenue increase came from Truth+ Patriot Package subscriptions, partly offset by lower Truth Social advertising revenue—two distinct sources of competition for Rumble’s advertising and subscription business.

  • Meta Platforms’ Facebook and Instagram compete with Rumble for audiences watching creators’ videos and for advertisers paying to reach those viewers.

  • Snap competes with Rumble for brands’ video-ad budgets, selling access to Snapchat audiences watching creator and entertainment content. Its full-screen video ads and Commercials in curated content are concrete alternatives to Rumble’s video advertising.

  • Amazon competes with Rumble through AWS for customers buying cloud infrastructure services, and through Twitch for livestream creators and viewers.

  • PubMatic competes with Rumble Advertising Center by helping publishers sell digital ad space and buyers reach audiences. PubMatic generally takes a percentage of the ad impressions’ value from publishers, making its publisher-fee revenue a useful line to watch alongside Rumble’s advertising marketplace.

  • Direct Digital Holdings competes with Rumble Advertising Center to turn publishers’ and creators’ ad space into revenue from advertisers. It buys publishers’ ad space and resells impressions through Colossus SSP; revenue from that selling business is the closest comparison to Rumble’s ad network.

  • Microsoft’s Azure competes with Rumble Cloud for businesses paying for cloud computing, storage and networking. Microsoft’s established customer base and the potential cost of switching providers make those business customers harder for Rumble to win.

  • Rackspace Technology competes with Rumble Cloud for businesses buying computing, storage and networking services. Rackspace’s Private Cloud results are the closest comparison, since that business sells data-center compute, network and storage hardware and services.
