Trump Media & Technology Group runs Truth Social, where users share content, and Truth+, which offers family-friendly live television and on-demand programming. Advertisers pay to reach Truth Social’s audience and supply most of the company’s operating revenue. Truth+ also earns subscription revenue from its Patriot Package. Advertising depends on content that keeps users engaged, advertisers’ willingness to spend, and access to tracking data for targeting and measurement, which privacy rules can restrict.
The audience and brand depend partly on Donald Trump’s popularity and continued use of Truth Social. His posting agreement does not require political posts to appear there first, and he can end the limited exclusivity obligation with notice. His association therefore does not guarantee exclusive access to his content.
Alongside these services, the company invests its own capital and holds a digital-asset portfolio concentrated in bitcoin and Cronos. It earns interest on cash and short-term investments and receives premiums for writing options. Bitcoin itself pays no interest or dividends; turning holdings into cash requires sales or additional strategies. Its bitcoin purchases have largely relied on stock and debt financing. Truth.Fi, its financial-services brand, remains in development and has not generated revenue; planned investment products depend on partners, required regulatory approvals and customer adoption.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Trump Media & Technology Group depends on Donald Trump's brand and participation as well as digital-asset valuations, so watch Crypto.com and its ties to the Cronos token ecosystem—not the unrelated cannabis producer Cronos Group.
RUM Group's Rumble Video competes with Trump Media & Technology Group's Truth Social and Truth+ for audiences seeking alternatives to established platforms and the revenue they generate. Watch Rumble's monthly active users and revenue per user for signs of how well that audience can support a media business; TMTG earns media revenue from advertisers and paid streaming subscribers.
Meta Platforms competes with Trump Media & Technology Group's Truth Social for users' attention and advertisers' social-media budgets. Meta sells ad placements across apps such as Facebook and Instagram, making its Family of Apps advertising revenue the relevant line to watch alongside TMTG's advertising business.
Alphabet's YouTube competes with Trump Media & Technology Group's media services for video viewers and advertisers' budgets, separately from Google's role distributing Truth apps. Watch YouTube advertising, where businesses pay to reach audiences, rather than treating all of Alphabet's revenue as a read on TMTG.
Coinbase Global shares Trump Media & Technology Group's exposure to crypto valuations and regulation, but TMTG holds digital assets while Coinbase charges customers to trade and provides crypto services. Watch Coinbase's consumer transaction-fee revenue for trading activity in that ecosystem, not as a direct measure of TMTG's bitcoin and Cronos holdings.
Snap competes with Trump Media & Technology Group's Truth Social for advertisers paying to reach social-platform audiences, though their audiences and formats differ. Snap's sales of Snapchat ads—from video ads to sponsored messages—are the business to watch for this overlap, rather than assuming its users behave like Truth Social's.
Meta Platforms, Inc. earningsMETA
Meta Platforms’ Family of Apps advertising revenue will show how social-platform ad spending is changing and the competition Trump Media faces for those budgets.
Watch the change in Meta Platforms’ Family of Apps advertising revenue as a gauge of a large social platform, not as a substitute for Trump Media’s own ad results. Growth would show advertisers still putting money into social platforms, while Meta Platforms also competes for those budgets; weakness could mean cooler ad demand, easing some competitive pressure but potentially shrinking the budget Trump Media can pursue. The conclusion is about the social-ad market and competition, not proof of Trump Media’s own performance.
Alphabet Inc. earningsGOOG
Alphabet’s YouTube ad revenue will show how viewers and advertisers support a major video business, and the market Truth+ faces for audience attention and any future ad expansion.
Focus on Alphabet’s reported YouTube advertising revenue, not the company’s total revenue as a read on video. Growth would show that video advertising still attracts businesses and that, if Truth+ expands ad monetization, it would face competition from an established platform; weakness could point to softer demand for video ads. Truth+ has subscription revenue, while ad monetization is still being explored, so this report describes the competitive setting, not Truth+’s own ad revenue.
Trump Media & Technology Group Corp. earningsThis company
Trump Media’s report will show whether Truth Social advertising and Truth+ subscriptions can together build a stronger media business.
Read advertising revenue and subscription revenue together, then compare them with cost of revenue and operating expenses. Steady advertising and growing subscriptions, without costs rising faster, would show Truth Social and Truth+ beginning to turn use into revenue; falling advertising that subscriptions cannot replace, while costs remain far higher than revenue, would show the media business still cannot support its own spending. Separate operating loss from net loss: valuation changes in bitcoin, Cronos and other digital assets can heavily affect net results without reflecting how the media business itself is doing.
RUM Group Inc. earningsRUM
RUM Group’s report can show whether Rumble Video turns an alternative-platform audience into revenue, a competitive question for Trump Media as it builds Truth Social and Truth+.
If RUM Group reports active users and revenue per user, read the two together. More users alongside higher revenue per user would show that Rumble Video is not only attracting an audience but monetizing it better, raising the competitive bar for alternative platforms; more users without higher revenue per user would show that reach alone may not build a stronger revenue base. Either outcome is a competitive benchmark, not a substitute for Trump Media’s own audience and revenue figures.
