Beacon Financial Corporation serves businesses and individuals through Beacon Bank & Trust. The bank takes deposits and uses deposits and borrowings to fund loans, leases and investments. Borrowers pay interest for financing property, business operations, equipment and household needs. Commercial lending accounts for most of its loans and leases, with Eastern Funding providing equipment financing to small businesses. Banking fees and wealth-management fees, including those earned through Clarendon Private, provide a smaller source of income.
The business depends on keeping funding costs below the interest it earns and on borrowers repaying their debts. Retaining deposits matters because replacing them with more expensive funding reduces that difference. Most loans held for investment are made in the bank’s local markets and secured by local real estate, tying repayment to property income, business cash flow and local economic activity.
The parent company receives its own revenue mainly through dividends from the bank and Clarendon Private. Banking capital requirements and regulatory dividend limits restrict how much money the bank can pass to the parent and how much the parent can distribute to shareholders.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.

Beacon Financial Corporation earningsThis company
Beacon Financial earns the spread between loan and investment income and deposit and borrowing costs, so this report shows whether its enlarged balance sheet can keep growing net interest income without funding and credit costs eating into it.
Read net interest income alongside net interest margin—the yield on interest-earning assets minus the cost of interest-bearing funding—and the provision for loan losses. Growing income with a steady margin and contained provisions says loan yields are still covering deposit costs and borrowers are broadly keeping up; a narrowing margin or rising provision says funding or repayment pressure is eating into the enlarged business.
Live Oak Bancshares, Inc. earningsLOB
Live Oak Bancshares originates SBA-backed small-business loans nationwide through an online platform, and its report shows what that borrower demand may mean for Beacon Financial's 44 Business Capital.
Look at Live Oak's small-business loan originations and loan growth. Strength in both says borrowers are still seeking this kind of financing, a supportive demand signal for Beacon's 44 Business Capital; weakness says the channel may be cooling and Beacon may find growth harder, though the two banks need not move in lockstep.
Fed Interest Rate Decision
Beacon earns the spread between interest on its loans and investments and what it pays for deposits and borrowings, so the Fed’s policy-rate decision can change both sides of its net interest income.

If it comes in above expectations
Higher rates can lift returns on Beacon’s repricing loans and investments, but also raise the rates it pays for deposits and borrowings; the net effect on net interest income depends on which changes faster, while weaker borrower repayment could add credit losses.
If it comes in below expectations
Lower rates can reduce returns on Beacon’s repricing loans and investments and prompt borrowers to prepay, while also easing deposit and borrowing costs; the net effect on net interest income depends on which changes faster.
