Zevia PBC offers consumers zero-sugar, zero-calorie alternatives to conventional sweetened beverages under the Zevia brand. Its drinks use highly purified stevia extract for sweetness. Soda accounts for nearly all sales, and its main markets are the United States and Canada.
Zevia develops and markets the drinks but hires independent manufacturers to produce them. Retailers buy directly from Zevia or through distributors, then sell the drinks in stores and online. Most sales come through a small group of customers whose contracts do not commit them to future purchases, making retailer orders and continued shelf space important to the business.
The business also depends on consumers continuing to accept stevia and trust the Zevia brand, and on contract manufacturers supplying enough drinks at competitive prices. Ingredients, production and labeling must meet food regulations; failure to meet those requirements can interrupt production or prevent sales.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Zevia hinges on zero-sugar soda demand, retail reach and promotional spending, with Olipop and Poppi important better-for-you soda rivals to watch beyond this list.
Reed's, Inc. competes with Zevia's zero-sugar sodas through overlapping U.S. retail channels, selling Reed's and Virgil's natural premium drinks to retailers, distributors and consumers. Its craft soda and ginger ale business is the part to watch for competition with Zevia.
National Beverage Corp. competes with Zevia for U.S. beverage shoppers and shelf space, selling LaCroix sparkling water and Shasta and Faygo sodas. News about those brands' availability and flavor selection matters more to this rivalry than its juice or energy-drink business.
Keurig Dr Pepper competes with Zevia for U.S. soda buyers and retail shelf space through Dr Pepper, Canada Dry and A&W. It sells finished drinks to distributors and retailers, and ingredients that bottlers turn into drinks; its U.S. soda business is the relevant competitive signal for Zevia.
Coca-Cola Company's Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Diet Coke and other sparkling drinks compete directly with Zevia's zero-sugar sodas, which generated about 95% of Zevia's 2025 net sales. Coca-Cola sells finished drinks to retailers and distributors; watch its zero-sugar soda brands rather than treating its entire beverage portfolio as a comparison.
PepsiCo's Pepsi and Mountain Dew compete with Zevia for soda purchases and retailer placement in the United States and Canada, but snacks diversify PepsiCo's results. Its North American beverage business is the closer comparison for Zevia, not the food business that sells to distributors and retailers.
Coca-Cola Consolidated manufactures and delivers competing Coca-Cola sodas to retailers across 14 U.S. states and the District of Columbia, where Zevia also seeks sales and shelf space. Coca-Cola Company products account for about 85% of its bottle/can sales volume to retail customers, making that retail business the part to watch.

Coca-Cola's report will show how its zero-sugar sodas are selling, giving a read on demand and competition in the shelves where Zevia's core business competes.
Focus on Coca-Cola's zero-sugar soda sales, not its beverage business as a whole. Stronger sales would point to demand for the category, but also to a large rival competing for the retail shelves Zevia needs. Weaker sales would suggest softer category momentum, not prove that customers are switching to Zevia.

Zevia relies mainly on zero-sugar soda sales, and this report will show whether added distribution turns into higher net sales and gross profit after retailer promotions and product costs.
Read equivalized case volume, net sales, and gross margin together. If volume rises alongside net sales and a stronger margin, added distribution is translating into more soda sold without promotions or costs taking away the gain. If volume rises but net sales or margin weakens, discounts, channel mix, or costs are absorbing it; wider distribution has not yet produced better returns on sales.
