Teads Holding Co. helps brands and other advertisers reach audiences on websites, mobile apps, online video and connected TV. Advertisers supply nearly all its revenue, paying for ad displays, clicks, completed video views or other agreed outcomes. Teads pays the media owners supplying those placements through revenue sharing, bids or minimum-payment guarantees. Its partners include BBC, CNN and Samsung.
The platform uses content and user-interaction signals with predictive AI to select ads and anticipate audience responses. The business depends on those ads delivering results, advertisers continuing to spend, and media partners attracting audiences and making ad space available. A small number of media partners carry a significant share of its recommendations. Advertisers generally have no fixed spending commitments and can cancel contracts, while some guaranteed payments to media partners remain payable even when advertising revenue falls.
Privacy rules limit how Teads can collect and use audience data. Because it has no direct relationship with users, it relies on media owners, advertisers and other partners to provide privacy notices and obtain consent where required.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Taboola competes with Teads for advertisers paying for results on partner websites and apps; both share advertising proceeds with those partners. Watch Taboola’s revenue from advertiser-paid clicks and purchases for a read on demand for this kind of performance advertising.
Nexxen competes with Teads on both sides of digital advertising: helping advertisers and agencies buy ads and publishers sell ad space. Nexxen charges customers platform fees, so its business with ad buyers and publishers is worth watching for competition across Teads’ marketplace.
Criteo competes with Teads for advertisers’ performance-marketing budgets, using predictive AI and access to media owners’ ad space to reach shoppers. Its Performance Media business, which serves advertisers across channels, is the line to watch for that rivalry.
Magnite competes with Teads to help media owners sell digital ad space, including connected TV, and generally keeps a share of buyers’ spending. Watch its relationships with large connected-TV sellers: a relatively small number provide a large share of the audiences available through Magnite.
The Trade Desk competes with Teads for advertiser and agency spending on premium digital media, helping buyers purchase ads and generally charging a percentage of their platform spending. Agency-group spending is worth watching: two holding companies each represented more than 10% of its gross billings in 2025.
PubMatic competes with Teads for publisher relationships and advertiser spending across web, apps, video and connected TV, generally charging publishers a share of the ad impressions they sell. Watch its business with large cross-channel publishers and buyers funding brand campaigns, the customer groups behind this overlap.
Viant competes with Teads for advertisers and agencies paying to buy and measure ads across connected TV, mobile and desktop. Watch agency campaign spending: Viant’s customers generally have no commitment to use its platform and can typically reduce or cancel campaigns.
AppLovin competes with Teads by using predictive AI to match advertisers with publishers’ ad space and improve campaign results. Watch Axon Ads Manager, which generates substantially all of AppLovin’s revenue and charges advertisers dynamically against their campaign goals rather than fixed prices per click or impression.
Alphabet’s Google competes with Teads for advertisers’ performance and brand budgets across video and publisher properties. YouTube and Google Network advertising revenue are the lines to watch for this overlap, rather than Alphabet’s cloud or other businesses.
Meta competes with Teads for marketers’ brand-awareness and performance budgets, selling ad placements on apps such as Facebook and Instagram while Teads sells media owners’ ad space. Watch Family of Apps advertising revenue, the business that captures those budgets, rather than Reality Labs hardware sales.
Pinterest competes with Teads for brands’ and retailers’ awareness and performance campaigns, with billing tied to impressions, video views, clicks or conversions. Watch its performance campaigns aimed at checkout or add-to-cart actions for competition over advertisers’ outcome-based budgets.
Snap competes with Teads for brand and direct-response advertisers’ image and video campaign budgets, selling placements on Snapchat while Teads sells ads across media partners. Watch Snapchat’s image and video advertising business for this competition, including Dynamic Ads that match advertisers’ product catalogs to users.
Teads uses DoubleVerify to detect and prevent ad fraud and report on its ad supply; DoubleVerify also shares exposure to digital advertising volumes by charging advertising customers for transactions it measures. Watch its measured transaction volume as a read on advertising activity, not a direct measure of Teads’ revenue.
Meta Platforms, Inc. earningsMETA
Meta Platforms’ Family of Apps ad revenue shows how advertisers are spending on a major competing app platform, where Meta and Teads seek some of the same brand and performance budgets.
Watch Family of Apps advertising revenue. Growth would show that advertisers are still spending on a major app platform, supporting the broader budget environment, but it would not show how much Teads wins. A decline would point to weakness in Meta’s ad business, not prove that spending has shifted to Teads. The takeaway is whether the budget environment around Teads’ competition looks more supportive or less supportive.
Taboola.com Ltd. earningsTBLA
Taboola earns from results such as clicks and purchases on partner websites and apps, showing how much advertisers value the performance-ad budgets that Teads also seeks.
Watch Taboola’s revenue from advertiser-paid clicks and purchases. Growth would show that advertisers are still paying for results on partner websites and apps, while confirming that Teads faces competition for those budgets; a decline could signal softer demand or Taboola-specific weakness. The takeaway is whether demand for performance advertising supports Teads’ market or intensifies the fight for those budgets.
Teads Holding Co. earningsThis company
Teads connects advertisers with media owners, and this report will show whether its ad revenue is growing into more value after inventory costs.
Read revenue alongside Ex-TAC Gross Profit, Teads’ non-GAAP measure of gross profit after traffic-acquisition costs, mainly the cost of media-owner inventory. If both grow and Ex-TAC Gross Profit keeps pace, advertiser spending is translating into more value after inventory costs; if revenue grows but Ex-TAC Gross Profit lags, higher billings are not producing comparable value after those costs; if both weaken, demand or campaign results are not sustaining the marketplace. The conclusion is whether growth is reaching the economics of Teads’ own business.
PubMatic, Inc. earningsPUBM
PubMatic works with large cross-channel publishers and brand-ad buyers, so its report shows whether media supply and advertising budgets shared with Teads remain active.
Read PubMatic’s business with large cross-channel publishers alongside its business funded by brand-ad buyers. Strength in both would show that publishers and advertisers also relevant to Teads remain active, with continued competition for inventory and brand budgets; weakness in both could ease that competition but would not prove Teads has enough supply or demand of its own. The conclusion is whether the shared pool of media supply and brand budgets is holding up or weakening.
