Kenvue supplies products people use to treat everyday ailments and care for their bodies. Self Care, including Tylenol pain medicines and Zyrtec allergy medicines, is its largest business. Skin care such as Neutrogena and daily care products such as Listerine mouthwash and BAND-AID bandages together account for the rest of its sales. It sells these products worldwide to retailers and other customers that bring them to consumers.
Nearly all sales come from products carrying Kenvue’s own trademarks and trade names, so the business depends on consumers continuing to choose its brands and retailers continuing to stock them. Large retail customers have substantial bargaining power: one customer supplies a meaningful share of sales, and its largest customers collectively account for a substantial part of the business. Kenvue makes products in its own factories and also relies on outside manufacturers, including Johnson & Johnson under transitional agreements for products such as Tylenol and Zyrtec.
Manufacturing must meet applicable quality standards, and local product and marketing rules can require Kenvue to change formulations, advertising or sales. Its proposed transaction with Kimberly-Clark remains subject to regulatory approvals and other closing conditions, and the pending agreement restricts some business actions before completion.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Beyond this list, watch Reckitt in self-care medicines and L’Oréal and Beiersdorf in skin care: all three are important competitors to Kenvue.
Kimberly-Clark’s share price affects the value of its proposed cash-and-stock purchase of Kenvue, making the buyer’s news directly relevant to Kenvue holders. The companies also compete for consumers’ spending on baby and feminine care products.
Haleon competes with Kenvue for consumers buying pain relief, cough and cold remedies, digestive health products and oral care. Its respiratory-product sales are worth watching alongside Kenvue’s cough, cold and allergy business.
Procter & Gamble competes for consumers’ everyday purchases across all three Kenvue businesses: self-care medicines, skin and beauty products, and essentials such as oral and baby care. Its product launches and promotions through stores and online channels show how it is pursuing those buyers.
Perrigo gives shoppers lower-priced alternatives to Kenvue’s nationally advertised nonprescription medicines by making products sold under retailers’ own brands in the U.S. and Canada. Retailers pay less for these products and can charge shoppers less while earning higher margins, making store-brand sales a useful gauge of price competition for Kenvue.
Church & Dwight competes with Kenvue for shoppers buying oral care, acne treatments, cold remedies and other personal care products through stores and online. Those product lines, rather than its laundry and household-cleaning business, are the relevant ones to watch for Kenvue.
Colgate-Palmolive competes with Kenvue’s oral and personal care products through its mouthwashes, skin care and hair care offerings. Its oral care sales are the clearest line to watch alongside Kenvue’s Listerine business.
Unilever and Kenvue compete for consumers’ skin and hair care purchases through their global brands. Watch Unilever’s Beauty & Wellbeing business, which includes these products, rather than its food or home-care sales.
Prestige Consumer Healthcare Inc. competes with Kenvue for purchases of branded nonprescription health and personal care products in stores and online. Its North American nonprescription-health sales are the main line to watch, since that business supplies most of its revenue.
Estée Lauder competes with Kenvue for face and body care purchases, though its brands emphasize luxury and prestige beauty. Its skin care sales, including moisturizers and cleansers, are more relevant to Kenvue than its makeup or fragrance results.
Edgewell Personal Care Company competes with Kenvue for consumers buying sunscreen, skin care and feminine care products. Watch its Sun and Skin Care and Feminine Care results, which cover the overlap rather than its shaving business.
Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories competes directly with Kenvue’s Nicorette outside the United States through nicotine-replacement products led by Nicotinell, sold to people trying to quit smoking. Watch those sales alongside Kenvue’s smoking-cessation business, whose growth in Europe, the Middle East and Africa partly offset its 2025 Self Care declines.
Procter & Gamble Company earningsPG
P&G competes with Kenvue across its three businesses, and P&G’s report will show how its product launches and promotions pursue the same everyday shoppers.
Look for P&G’s comments on launches and promotions in the overlapping product areas, alongside its reported performance there. Steady relevant sales without heavy promotion would point to supported everyday demand and less pressure on Kenvue; weaker results or greater reliance on promotions would signal a harder contest for Kenvue’s shoppers and margins.
Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Limited earningsRDY
Dr. Reddy’s nicotine-replacement products compete with Kenvue’s Nicorette outside the United States, so its report offers a comparison for Kenvue’s smoking-cessation business.
If Dr. Reddy’s reports nicotine-replacement sales, compare them with Kenvue’s smoking-cessation results. Growth at both would support stronger category demand; growth at Dr. Reddy’s while Kenvue weakens would point to a possible gap in Kenvue’s brand or market execution. If Dr. Reddy’s weakens while Kenvue grows, the difference may reflect brands, regions, or execution rather than the whole category.
Fed Interest Rate Decision
Kenvue’s policy-rate backdrop affects what it pays to borrow or refinance its $8.5 billion of debt, leaving more or less cash for its consumer-health, beauty, and essential-health businesses.

If it comes in above expectations
If the policy rate is higher than expected, debt that reprices and new borrowing may cost Kenvue more, leaving less cash for its products, operations, and investment.

If the policy rate is lower than expected, debt that reprices and new borrowing may cost Kenvue less, leaving more cash for its products, operations, and investment.
Colgate-Palmolive Company earningsCL
Colgate-Palmolive competes with Kenvue’s Listerine in oral care, and its oral-care results provide a read on the market Kenvue serves.
Focus on Colgate-Palmolive’s oral-care performance, not its company-wide sales as a proxy for that category. Strength would suggest the market still has support; weakness could reflect softer demand or brand and regional factors. Read it alongside Kenvue’s oral-care results to judge whether Kenvue faces a market-wide slowdown or is lagging within it.
Kenvue Inc. earningsThis company
Kenvue’s organic sales fell in 2025 as volume declined, and this report will show whether its brands can steady sales and support profit across its businesses.
Read volume and price/mix—the effect of prices and the products customers buy—alongside adjusted operating income for each business. In 2025, Kenvue’s organic sales fell 2.2%: volume fell 2.3%, while price/mix added 0.1%. If volume stabilizes and segment income holds up, demand and execution are steadier; if volume keeps falling and income weakens, pricing and savings are not offsetting soft demand.
The Estee Lauder Companies Inc. earningsEL
Estée Lauder’s skin-care products overlap with Kenvue’s face and body care, and its skin-care sales show whether demand holds up in the prestige end of the market.
Focus on Estée Lauder’s skin care, not makeup or fragrance, and compare its direction with Kenvue’s face and body care. Strength at both would suggest supported skin-care demand; weakness at Estée Lauder while Kenvue holds up would point to pressure concentrated in prestige beauty. Their different positioning means Estée Lauder’s results are a demand signal, not proof of Kenvue’s sales or market share.
PERRIGO COMPANY PLC earningsPRGO
Perrigo makes retailers’ own-brand over-the-counter medicines, and its report will show whether these lower-priced alternatives are intensifying price competition for Kenvue’s brands.
If Perrigo reports on its store-brand medicines, watch the direction of those sales. Growth would give retailers more reason to draw shoppers with cheaper alternatives, putting pressure on Kenvue’s volume or pricing; weakness would mean less evidence of that pressure. Perrigo’s results are a competition signal, not proof that Kenvue has lost sales.
Prestige Consumer Healthcare Inc. earningsPBH
Prestige Consumer Healthcare Inc. competes with Kenvue in branded over-the-counter health products, and its North American results provide a comparison for Kenvue’s Self Care business.
Focus on Prestige Consumer Healthcare Inc.’s North American nonprescription-health sales and compare their direction with Kenvue’s Self Care business. Strength at both would suggest supported demand; Prestige growing while Kenvue weakens could point to a gap in Kenvue’s brands or execution; weakness at both would make softer category demand a possibility. This report alone cannot separate demand changes from competitive effects.
Edgewell Personal Care Company earningsEPC
Edgewell’s sun and skin-care products overlap with Kenvue’s Skin Health and Beauty business, so its results in those areas offer a read on demand for products Kenvue sells.
Focus on Edgewell’s sun and skin-care businesses, not shaving. Steady or growing sales there would suggest demand for these products remains supported; declines would flag possible demand pressure for Kenvue’s overlapping products, though brand or regional differences can lead to different results. Treat the report as a category signal, not proof that Kenvue will see the same sales change.
Retail Sales MoM (Oct)
Retail sales track what consumers spend at stores, giving a read on demand for Kenvue’s Tylenol, Neutrogena, Listerine, and BAND-AID products and the retailer orders that drive its sales.
If retail sales rise, that points to stronger consumer spending that may support retailer orders for Kenvue’s products; if they fall, weaker spending may weigh on orders and sales, though the effect can vary by product and retailer.
