Businesses hire Infosys to develop and maintain software, connect enterprise applications, move systems to the cloud and manage ongoing technology operations. It also runs business processes such as finance, procurement and customer service. Infosys Cobalt brings together its cloud offerings, while Infosys Topaz adds AI capabilities across its services. Services generate nearly all revenue; software products and platforms contribute a smaller share.
Clients pay for staff time, completed units of work or projects with agreed prices and deadlines. Infosys generally collects payment as contractual milestones are completed. It manages projects using teams at client sites and its own facilities in India. Fixed-price, fixed-timeframe projects account for most revenue, making accurate estimates of staffing, delivery time and costs important: Infosys bears overruns rather than automatically charging clients more.
North America supplies most revenue, followed by Europe, and financial services is its largest client industry. The business depends on clients continuing to fund technology work and on Infosys keeping skilled staff deployed on billable projects. Many contracts let clients end work on notice. Work-visa rules constrain where it can deploy employees, while data-protection laws restrict how it can access and use client information and can prevent some services.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.

CGI Inc. competes with Infosys to advise clients on IT, connect their systems and take over some or all of their IT operations and business processes. Its managed-services work is worth watching for demand for the ongoing outsourcing contracts both pursue.
DXC Technology competes with Infosys for businesses’ application upgrades, consulting, IT infrastructure services and insurance technology work. Its Insurance Software & Services results are particularly relevant to Infosys McCamish’s insurance platforms and policy-administration services.
EPAM Systems competes with Infosys for enterprise spending on software engineering and cloud, data and AI transformation. Watch its cloud, data and AI work for demand in the same areas served by Infosys Cobalt.
International Business Machines competes with Infosys through IBM Consulting to update enterprise applications and implement systems combining on-site and cloud computing, alongside AI transformations. Watch its consulting work in hybrid cloud and AI rather than treating all of IBM’s software and infrastructure business as a match for Infosys.
Genpact competes with Infosys to improve and run enterprise business processes using data, automation and AI. Its Financial Services results offer clues to outsourcing demand from banking, capital-markets and insurance clients, which Infosys also serves.

International Business Machines Corporation earningsIBM
IBM's report will show whether businesses are spending more or less on hybrid-cloud and AI transformations, budgets that Infosys also competes for.
Focus on whether IBM Consulting's work tied to hybrid cloud and AI transformation strengthens or weakens; IBM's software and infrastructure businesses are not a like-for-like comparison. Stronger related work would show that companies are still funding these system changes, leaving budgets Infosys can pursue; weaker work would point to softer demand for similar projects.
Infosys Limited earningsThis company
Infosys earns mainly from enterprise services projects, and this report will show whether client spending is turning into revenue growth without eroding delivery profits.
Read constant-currency revenue growth alongside operating margin. Faster growth with a steady or rising margin would show that project demand, pricing and productivity are covering delivery costs; slower growth with a falling margin would show that project volume, rates or staff utilization are not keeping up with costs. The conclusion is whether Infosys can turn enterprise projects into profitable growth.
ExlService Holdings, Inc. earningsEXLS
ExlService's report will show whether demand for life and annuity policy administration is strengthening or weakening, work that overlaps directly with Infosys McCamish.
Watch whether ExlService's life and annuity policy-administration work grows or weakens. Growth would show that insurers are still buying these services, supporting demand in the market served by Infosys McCamish; a decline would point to softer buying for this kind of work.
Cognizant Technology Solutions earningsCTSH
Cognizant's report will show whether financial-services clients are still outsourcing IT and business-process work, services Infosys also sells to this customer group.
Focus on Cognizant's financial-services business, not its results as a whole. Strength there would show that banks, insurers and other financial clients are still buying outsourced services, supporting demand for Infosys's work with the same customer group; weakness would point to tighter budgets for that work.
Liberty Global Ltd. earningsLBTYA
Liberty Global's report will show how its plans for Horizon development and operations are changing, work it buys from Infosys.
Watch whether Liberty Global maintains, expands or scales back Horizon development and operating work. Continued or expanded plans would show that this client is still funding the work and could keep projects flowing to Infosys; a cutback would mean less potential work from this customer. Liberty Global retains Horizon's intellectual property and control of its strategy.
Amdocs Limited earningsDOX
Amdocs's report will show whether communications providers are still paying for systems implementation and managed operations, spending relevant to Infosys's Communication business.
Watch whether Amdocs's software implementation and managed-operations work strengthens or weakens. Stronger work would show that communications providers are still paying to connect and operate technology systems, supporting demand in the market Infosys's Communication business serves; weaker work would point to shrinking spend on similar services.
Concentrix Corporation earningsCNXC
Concentrix's report will show whether businesses are still outsourcing customer-service operations, work that overlaps with the business-process services Infosys BPM sells.
Watch whether Concentrix's customer-service operations grow or weaken. Growth would show that businesses are still paying outside providers to handle customer service, supporting demand in the outsourcing market Infosys BPM serves; weakness would suggest clients are cutting outsourced work or changing how they buy it.
