Solana Company mainly puts its capital into SOL, the Solana network’s digital token, rather than selling products or services to customers. It delegates a substantial portion of its holdings to third-party validators, which participate in running the network, and receives rewards through this process, called staking. These rewards account for most of its revenue and are paid in SOL, not cash; the company must sell tokens to turn them into cash.
The business depends heavily on SOL’s market value, continued use of the Solana network and access to financing. The company plans to fund further SOL purchases mainly by issuing shares and borrowing, and still relies on external capital to support operations. Pantera manages substantially all of its assets under a trading-advisory agreement, while third-party custodians safeguard its SOL. Some holdings are contractually locked, and staked tokens can require a waiting period before sale. SOL’s legal status remains unsettled; classification as a security could restrict the company’s ability to acquire, hold or transfer it.
A smaller business sells the PoNS neurotechnology device. In the United States, PoNS is authorized only for short-term treatment of walking impairment associated with mild-to-moderate multiple sclerosis symptoms. Sales depend on physician prescribing, physical-therapist training and insurance coverage or reimbursement. A small group of customers accounts for most product sales, and additional U.S. uses require separate FDA authorization.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
DeFi Development Corp. and Solana Company both build SOL holdings and earn additional SOL by committing tokens to network validators, so SOL prices and staking yields matter to both. Watch DeFi Development’s staking revenue after validator commissions for a read on the rewards available from this strategy.
Forward Industries, Inc. shares Solana Company’s exposure to SOL prices and network returns: both accumulate SOL and pursue staking and other on-chain earnings. Forward’s disclosures about validator downtime or Solana upgrades are worth watching for risks to those returns, rather than its design-service sales to mainly U.S. medical and technology customers.
Upexi, Inc. and Solana Company both hold SOL and delegate tokens to validators to earn SOL rewards, leaving both exposed to token prices and validator performance. Upexi’s staking yield—not sales of its LuckyTail pet products—is the line to watch for changes in network rewards, funded by newly issued tokens and transaction fees.
SkyAI, Inc.’s supplied Sharps Technology disclosures describe the same concentrated SOL exposure as Solana Company: holding SOL and earning staking rewards. The SOL valuation and staking-reward results in those disclosures are the relevant comparison, rather than syringe sales to hospitals, clinics and other medical buyers.
Sol Strategies Inc. shares Solana Company’s SOL price and staking exposure, but also runs validators that process and verify network transactions for institutional and retail stakers; Solana Company delegates its holdings to operators. Watch Sol Strategies’ validator performance and reward commissions for a view of the operating economics behind delegated staking.
Brera Holdings PLC’s digital-assets business shares Solana Company’s dependence on SOL prices and staking rewards: both accumulate SOL and commit it to validators to earn more tokens. Brera’s staking revenue comes mainly through a partner-operated validator, making that revenue the useful comparison with Solana Company’s delegated staking.
Defi Technologies, Inc.’s Valour invested in funds holding locked, staked SOL, sharing Solana Company’s exposure to SOL prices and restrictions on selling tokens. Valour offers exchange-traded products giving investors indirect digital-asset exposure; watch its fund valuations and SOL releases scheduled through January 2028 for the balance between staking earnings and access to locked holdings.

DeFi Development Corp. also holds and stakes SOL; its staking revenue after validator commissions will show whether the rewards available to Solana Co from delegated staking are improving.
Watch how DeFi Development Corp.’s staking revenue changes after validator commissions. Higher net revenue signals better rewards from delegated staking, a favorable sign for Solana Co’s staking income; lower revenue means less reward is being passed through and a weaker income stream from staking.

Defi Technologies, Inc.’s Valour holds funds with locked, staked SOL; fund valuations and token releases will show how liquidity limits affect Solana Co’s own restricted SOL while it earns staking rewards.
Read the valuations of Valour’s relevant funds alongside the release schedule for locked SOL. Stable valuations and releases on schedule would show that value is holding while liquidity returns gradually; weakening valuations or delayed releases would show that locked assets face both price risk and limited access, a similar constraint for Solana Co’s restricted SOL.

Solana Co is built around holding and staking SOL, and this report will show whether staking rewards can offset the effect of SOL’s volatile valuation on its results.
Read staking-reward income alongside gains or losses from changes in the fair value of digital assets. Rising rewards with a smaller valuation loss would show staking income cushioning price declines more effectively; falling rewards or a larger loss would show that SOL’s price still dominates results and puts more pressure on the treasury strategy. PoNS product sales are a separate, much smaller revenue stream.
