Company

Company overview

SkyAI, Inc. mainly puts its own capital into SOL, the token of the Solana network. It commits tokens to validators that help operate the network, a process called staking, and receives rewards in SOL. Staking revenue is much larger than its limited syringe sales. Its treasury is concentrated in SOL, so the value of its holdings depends heavily on SOL’s price and the continued operation and acceptance of Solana.

The company also sells remaining syringe inventory, including Sologard products, to healthcare providers and medical-supply organizations. It no longer develops or manufactures syringes and plans to source future inventory from third-party manufacturers.

SkyAI relies on outside custodians and validators to safeguard its tokens and earn rewards. Its locked SOL is staked with BitGo’s validator and cannot be moved or unstaked until scheduled releases. SkyAI also monitors its assets and income to avoid having to register as an investment company. If SOL were legally treated as a security, it could have to reduce its holdings or change how it operates.

  • Solana Company and SkyAI both concentrate their treasury assets in SOL, so SOL prices and rewards for committing tokens to support the network—staking—affect both. Solana Company's efforts to increase SOL per share offer a comparison for how this treasury strategy builds token holdings.

  • DeFi Development Corp. shares SkyAI's exposure to SOL prices and staking rewards: both accumulate SOL and commit tokens to support the network. DeFi Development also runs the computers that validate network activity, so its staking rewards reflect validator operations as well as its token holdings.

  • Forward Industries, Inc. has the same principal token exposure as SkyAI: alongside its design business, it holds a substantial SOL treasury and commits SOL to support the network in return for staking rewards.

  • Sol Strategies Inc. shares SkyAI's exposure to SOL prices and staking activity, but also runs network-validation infrastructure for institutional and retail staking customers. Its staking-services business offers a view of customer participation in the same network where SkyAI earns rewards on its SOL treasury.

  • SkyAI relies on BitGo Holdings, Inc. to validate network activity for all its locked SOL, supporting the staking rewards that generate most of SkyAI's operating income streams. Watch BitGo's monthly release schedule: SkyAI cannot unstake or move those tokens before release, limiting its ability to shift them to another validator.

  • Sharplink, Inc. offers a comparison for SkyAI's crypto-treasury valuation and staking returns, but not its SOL exposure: Sharplink holds ETH and commits it to Ethereum validators to earn rewards. Its ETH staking rewards show the economics of earning tokens on another network, rather than SOL-specific performance.
