SPS Commerce helps retailers and their suppliers exchange the information needed to process orders and invoices. Its Fulfillment product connects with customers’ existing systems and automates those exchanges through invoicing and revenue recovery. Customers connect to a shared network rather than build separate integrations for each trading partner; SPS maintains the data standards and connection rules, brings partners onto the network, and resolves transaction problems.
Retailers, brands and other supply-chain participants pay for these services. Nearly all revenue is recurring, primarily from subscriptions, and Fulfillment supplies most of it. SPS earns additional revenue as customers expand their trading relationships and transaction volumes. Revenue is spread across customers rather than dependent on a single large buyer.
The business depends on retaining subscribers, adding customers and getting existing customers to use more products. Most recurring-service customers can cancel on short notice without a long-term commitment, and demand depends significantly on retailers’ financial health. Privacy and data-processing rules also constrain how SPS handles information and can limit the services it offers in some locations.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.

Manhattan Associates’ report will show whether customers keep paying for supply-chain automation, a signal of demand for SPS Commerce’s subscriptions too.
Watch growth in Manhattan Associates’ cloud subscriptions. Faster growth suggests businesses still pay for software that manages inventory, warehouses and sales across channels, a supportive spending backdrop for SPS Commerce; slower growth suggests customers may be delaying or limiting automation spending, making SPS Commerce’s subscription sales harder to win.
SPS Commerce, Inc. earningsThis company
SPS Commerce earns mainly from subscriptions and trading-network use, and this report will show whether more customers and deeper use by existing customers are still growing recurring revenue.
Read recurring-revenue customer growth alongside annual average recurring revenue per customer. If both rise, SPS Commerce is adding customers and earning more from each; if customer numbers rise while revenue per customer stalls or falls, new accounts are not yet bringing deeper use or more revenue, leaving growth more dependent on adding customers.

Open Text Corp’s report will show whether businesses keep paying to exchange orders and invoices with trading partners, the same demand SPS Commerce competes to serve.
Watch Open Text Corp’s Business Network, particularly demand for using it to exchange orders and invoices. Stronger results would suggest businesses still pay for trading-partner connections, supporting the market SPS Commerce serves; weaker results would point to softer demand or tougher competition for customers, increasing pressure on SPS Commerce to win accounts.
