Company

Company overview

SharonAI Holdings, Inc. gives businesses, government agencies and research organizations access to GPU servers to train AI models, run them to produce answers, and perform other demanding computations without managing their own physical facilities. GPU infrastructure services generate most of its revenue. Its SharonAI Cloud and SharonAI Studio software lets customers provision and manage workloads. The company has moved away from Filecoin storage and sold its Texas data-center development joint venture to focus on GPU cloud services.

Customers can pay for computing as they use it or reserve capacity under term contracts. SharonAI has shifted its main contracting approach toward multi-year agreements requiring customers to pay for reserved capacity whether or not they use it. An initial deposit or prepayment helps fund equipment orders; monthly capacity payments begin once the infrastructure is operational. It has signed a major customer contract with Canva and GMI Cloud US Inc.

A small group of customers supplies most of the revenue. Delivering contracted capacity depends heavily on NVIDIA GPUs and NEXTDC, which hosts substantially all of SharonAI’s GPU infrastructure. Equipment and hosting capacity must be ready before new contracts can generate service revenue. Export controls on GPUs and related cloud technologies can also restrict which overseas markets and customers the company may serve.

SharonAI’s expansion depends on securing contracted GPU demand and deploying NVIDIA hardware in NEXTDC facilities, with Lenovo providing equipment and financing.

  • CoreWeave competes with SharonAI for AI customers buying GPU cloud infrastructure and software under long-term capacity commitments. Watch CoreWeave’s new multi-year commitments from enterprises and AI labs as a sign of demand for the contracted capacity SharonAI needs to fund deployments.

  • Nebius Group competes with SharonAI for customers paying for GPU computing, storage and tools to manage AI model training and inference. Watch demand for Nebius’s AI cloud rather than its other businesses when assessing SharonAI’s market.

  • SharonAI depends on NVIDIA for the GPUs and system designs behind its paid cloud capacity, so new products and supply constraints affect deployment timing and equipment costs. Watch delivery news for the 1,000 B200 and 1,024 B300 GPUs SharonAI purchased, which it expected in the first half of 2026.

  • QumulusAI competes with SharonAI by placing GPUs in rented data-center space and selling AI cloud capacity to research teams, startups and enterprises. Watch its GPU deployments and cloud revenue separately from blockchain operations, which used most of its active power capacity in its July 2026 filing.

  • Corvex competes with SharonAI for customers paying for GPU clusters and software to run AI training and inference, either on dedicated servers or with workloads managed for them. Its Token Factory is worth watching alongside SharonAI’s inference engine, but remained in development rather than an established service.

  • Bit Digital’s WhiteFiber business competes with SharonAI for enterprise, research and AI developers paying for cloud GPU capacity. Watch WhiteFiber’s cloud GPU revenue separately from hosting revenue: it owns data-center infrastructure, while SharonAI rents space from partners.

  • DigitalOcean Holdings competes with SharonAI for developers and technology companies buying GPU infrastructure and AI platform services. Adoption of its Gradient AI cloud is more relevant to SharonAI than demand for its general-purpose website and application hosting.

  • SharonAI’s proceeds from selling its Texas data-center venture depend on New Era Energy & Digital’s ability to pay the $70 million purchase price, including a $50 million secured note and $10 million in equity. Watch its financing and share-issuance approvals: if issuance limits prevent payment in shares, New Era may need additional cash funding to avoid default.

  • Applied Digital and SharonAI both depend on AI infrastructure expansion and available power, but Applied Digital leases data-center capacity to large cloud operators and other compute customers while SharonAI rents space to sell GPU cloud services. Watch Applied Digital’s power connections for new high-density facilities as a sign of the capacity constraints facing this market.

  • HIVE Digital Technologies competes with SharonAI for customers buying computing for AI and graphics rendering, but also sells substantial mining computing power to aggregators and mining pools. Watch its conversion of mining facilities into AI infrastructure and its HPC business, rather than treating mining results as a signal of GPU cloud demand.

  • Core Scientific and SharonAI both need power for expanding AI infrastructure: Core Scientific develops space and supporting systems for high-density computing customers, while SharonAI installs GPUs in rented facilities. Watch Core Scientific’s progress bringing AI colocation capacity into operation, rather than its mining activity.

  • Microsoft competes with SharonAI for enterprises paying for cloud AI computing and for the equipment, energy infrastructure and capital needed to serve them. Its large data centers and pooled customer demand give it cost and utilization advantages that matter when assessing SharonAI’s pricing.

  • Amazon’s AWS business competes with SharonAI for paying cloud computing customers and for the equipment and power needed to deliver capacity. AWS news is the relevant part of Amazon to follow for this tie, rather than its retail operations.

  • Alphabet’s Google Cloud business competes with SharonAI for customers paying for cloud workloads and the computing infrastructure needed to serve AI demand. Follow Google Cloud rather than Alphabet’s advertising business when judging this competition.

  • SharonAI relies on Cisco’s AI-ready networking and integrated solutions to support GPU infrastructure sold to enterprise and government customers. Watch joint customer offerings and eligible Cisco-solution revenue, on which SharonAI can receive a rebate if it meets the program’s criteria.
