RLX Technology sells rechargeable e-cigarettes, replacement cartridges and disposable products to users through distribution and retail networks. Almost all revenue comes from e-vapor product sales, with distributors rather than individual users providing most of the revenue. International operations account for most revenue; overseas distributors supply local retailers, while RLX also operates its own distribution and retail channels in selected markets.
In China, RLX sells products such as the rechargeable Phantom and disposable Feiliu to licensed provincial Tobacco Commercial Enterprises through the National Transaction Platform. These wholesalers supply licensed retailers, which sell to users. Chinese rules restrict online sales and prohibit sales to minors; RLX no longer earns revenue through third-party e-commerce platforms or their distributors in China.
The business depends on access to permitted sales channels and control of manufacturing and material costs. A significant share of its products comes from a Shenzhen plant operated with a third-party partner, while contract manufacturers also produce products, particularly for overseas markets.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
RLX Technology’s growth increasingly depends on overseas vaping distribution, including Relx Inc., whose operating entities receive RLX’s raw materials and finished goods for onward overseas distribution.
Ispire Technology competes with RLX’s expanding overseas vaping business by selling Aspire nicotine-vaping products to distributors in Europe and Asia-Pacific outside China. Watch its sales in those regions for a read on demand in markets where RLX is expanding.
British American Tobacco competes with RLX’s rechargeable and disposable e-vapor products, selling vapour products to adult nicotine consumers internationally through retailers. Watch its vapour business rather than total tobacco sales for signs of competition facing RLX.
Philip Morris International competes for consumers of RLX’s international vaping business with VEEV e-vapor products and other smoke-free nicotine alternatives. Watch where it expands sales of these products for changes in the choices available to RLX’s overseas customers.

Ispire Technology’s report will show how its vaping-product sales are faring in Europe and Asia-Pacific outside China, markets where RLX is also expanding.
Look at Ispire’s sales in Europe and Asia-Pacific outside China. Rising sales would point to demand for vaping products in markets RLX is entering, giving RLX a more supportive demand backdrop; weaker sales would suggest demand or competition could make it harder for RLX to win distributors and customers there. The takeaway is whether RLX is entering markets with growing demand or a harder fight for business.

RLX Technology’s report will show whether overseas sales are growing without eroding the gross profit it keeps from each sale.
Read revenue growth alongside gross margin, the share of sales left after product costs. If revenue and gross margin both rise, expansion is adding sales while RLX keeps more gross profit per unit of revenue. If revenue rises but gross margin falls, sales are growing while product costs or the mix of products sold are squeezing that margin. The question is whether overseas expansion brings in more revenue and leaves more gross profit behind.
