Telecom carriers pay IQSTEL Inc. to deliver calls and text messages to other networks. The company connects originating and destination networks through carrier agreements and routes traffic between them. Telecom services account for the vast majority of revenue, with voice carrying the largest share. Its messaging customers also include SMS aggregators and businesses that send messages to users.
A smaller business, GlobeTopper, provides a digital gift-card and incentives platform. Enterprises pay it to source and manage gift-card programs for customer loyalty, promotions and employee rewards. Blockchain and certain AI initiatives have not yet generated revenue.
The telecom business depends on continued access to other carriers’ networks and on customers paying for the traffic delivered. Most revenue comes from outside the United States, and a relatively small group of large customers supplies most of it. Carrier agreements expire and must be renewed or replaced. Local rules can also restrict competition with incumbent carriers or require additional licenses and approvals.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
iQSTEL’s results depend chiefly on wholesale voice and SMS traffic volumes and routing margins; iBASIS, a disclosed messaging customer absent from this list, is also worth watching.
IDT Corporation’s IDT Global competes with iQSTEL for carriers that pay them to connect international calls, deliver SMS and route traffic between networks. Watch IDT Global’s wholesale voice and SMS business rather than IDT’s overall revenue, which also includes payments and other services.
Twilio supplies customer demand to iQSTEL through Twilio Ireland, a main customer of its QGlobal SMS business, while both also sell businesses messaging and internet-based phone connections, or SIP trunking. Watch usage of Twilio’s messaging services by business customers, though iQSTEL does not disclose how much revenue this customer contributes.
Lumen Technologies competes with iQSTEL for carriers and enterprises paying for wholesale call connections, internet-based phone connections known as SIP trunking, and international network connectivity.
Twilio Inc. earningsTWLO
Twilio’s report offers a read on business demand for messaging services, and Twilio Ireland is one of the main customers of iQSTEL’s QGlobal SMS business.
Look at usage of Twilio’s business messaging services or the performance of that business. Stronger demand would support the view that the market for business messaging traffic is healthy, a favorable backdrop for iQSTEL’s SMS business. Weaker demand could signal softness. But iQSTEL does not disclose how much revenue comes from Twilio Ireland, and Twilio’s overall results do not establish how much that customer buys from iQSTEL; the report is a demand signal, not a measure of iQSTEL sales.
IQSTEL INC. earningsThis company
iQSTEL’s report will show whether its international voice and SMS traffic still brings in revenue after carrier and network costs, and whether customer payments keep pace with settlement outflows.
Read telecom revenue, gross margin and operating cash flow together. Steady revenue and margins, with customer collections providing cash for carrier settlements, would show that iQSTEL is turning traffic into usable funds. If revenue holds but margins narrow, or receivables tie up cash and operating cash flow remains negative, price competition, service costs or slow collections are squeezing the business.
IDT Corporation earningsIDT
IDT Corporation’s report will show how its IDT Global wholesale voice and SMS business is doing; it and iQSTEL both connect international calls, deliver messages and route traffic for carriers.
Focus on IDT Global’s wholesale voice and SMS business, not IDT Corporation’s revenue from other services. If those businesses hold up, carriers still appear to need these services, though IDT may also be taking business from competitors. If they weaken, the shared market is under pressure, but this report alone cannot separate lower demand from a change in IDT’s competitive position. It shows the conditions around iQSTEL, not iQSTEL’s own results.
