Yext, Inc. helps businesses keep information about their locations, people and services consistent across their own websites and outside services such as Google, Apple and Yelp. Customers maintain that information in a central database called the Knowledge Graph, and Yext distributes updates through its Publisher Network. Products such as Listings, Pages and Reviews let customers manage business listings, build web pages and respond to reviews from the same platform.
Most revenue comes from platform subscriptions and associated support. Enterprise and mid-size businesses pay Yext directly and provide most of its revenue; resellers also contribute a significant share, with Yext contracting with the reseller rather than the end customer. Annual and multi-year subscription prices depend on the features selected and the number of locations or other entities, licenses or capacity covered. Professional services provide a smaller revenue stream.
The business depends on customers renewing and expanding subscriptions, and on continued access to outside platforms—especially Google, whose loss could prompt customers to leave. U.S. rules also restrict, and sometimes prohibit, certain sensitive personal-data transfers to entities in or linked to China and other designated countries, limiting how Yext can arrange data sharing with service providers.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Sprinklr, Inc. competes for enterprise spending on social-media management, customer feedback and digital engagement that Yext also serves. Its Sprinklr Social and Sprinklr Insights products are the clearest places to watch that competition with Yext’s social-engagement and review-management subscriptions.
Sprout Social, Inc competes for businesses’ social-media management spending with Yext’s Social and compliant social-engagement products. Watch its news on customers’ privacy and security requirements: Sprout Social says these demands have raised barriers to entry in that market.
HubSpot competes for business marketing teams’ spending with software that overlaps Yext’s content, pages, social and communications products. Watch its marketing, content and customer-engagement offerings, which businesses can buy separately or together, rather than treating all of HubSpot’s results as a measure of competition with Yext.
Salesforce, Inc.’s marketing and customer-engagement software competes for some of the enterprise budgets served by Yext’s digital marketing and Hearsay communications products.

Sprout Social, Inc earningsSPT
Sprout Social’s report will show whether businesses still fund social-media management despite rising privacy and security requirements, a budget pool Yext’s Social products also compete for.
Watch Sprout Social’s comments on customer demand and privacy and security requirements. Resilient demand alongside customers meeting those requirements would show businesses still pay for social-management software, leaving Yext’s related products a chance to compete; weaker demand or procurement constrained by compliance would mean a tighter market for Yext.
Sprinklr, Inc. earningsCXM
Sprinklr’s report will show whether enterprises are spending on social management and customer feedback, budgets its Sprinklr Social and Insights products share with Yext’s social and review subscriptions.
Look for demand or sales commentary on Sprinklr Social and Insights, alongside what Sprinklr says about enterprise spending. Stronger demand would show businesses still fund social engagement and feedback tools, supporting the budget pool Yext also seeks; weaker demand would point to tighter spending and a harder fight for Yext’s social and review subscriptions.
Yext, Inc. earningsThis company
Yext earns recurring platform subscriptions from businesses, and this report will show whether renewals and customer expansion can offset lost or reduced subscriptions without relying on acquisitions for growth.
Read annual recurring revenue (ARR) alongside dollar-based net retention. Rising ARR with net retention above 100% means existing customers’ added products, licenses, or capacity outweigh churn and contraction; flat or falling ARR with retention below 100% means renewals and expansion are not replacing what customers leave or cut, so subscription growth lacks an organic base.
