Telos Corporation helps government agencies and businesses protect sensitive systems, verify identities and meet cybersecurity requirements. Most revenue comes from its Security Solutions business. Its Xacta software automates cyber-risk and compliance work across cloud and on-premises systems, while its identity offerings include TSA PreCheck enrollment and biometric services. It also supplies secure messaging and, through its smaller Secure Networks business, builds and manages secure networks.
The U.S. federal government supplies the vast majority of revenue, with the Department of War alone accounting for more than half. Telos receives payment either as the main contractor or as a subcontractor supporting another contractor’s federal work; state and local governments and commercial customers supply the remainder. Much of this work is competitively awarded, and continued revenue depends on winning contracts and renewals and receiving government funding. Even multiyear programs are typically funded annually, and agencies can curtail or terminate contracts. Some contracts require qualified staff with security clearances, limiting who can perform the work. Export controls and sanctions also restrict where some solutions can be sold or deployed.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
CACI INTERNATIONAL CLA competes with Telos Corporation to sell cybersecurity, software and secure-network capabilities to U.S. government agencies and national-security customers. Its new contracts and repeat business with those buyers are worth watching for competition facing Telos.
Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) competes with Telos Corporation for work securing, managing and modernizing IT systems for U.S. defense, intelligence and civilian agencies. SAIC’s Defense and Intelligence and Civilian segments show how business is developing across the government customer groups that also buy from Telos.
Leidos Holdings and Telos Corporation both depend on U.S. government contracts, so federal technology budgets and contract awards matter to both companies’ sales of technology products and services. U.S. government contracts supplied 87% of Leidos’s fiscal 2025 revenue, versus approximately 91% for Telos.
WidePoint Corporation competes with Telos Corporation to help government customers manage mobile communications and verify identities, leaving both exposed to federal contract decisions. Watch the successor award for WidePoint’s Department of Homeland Security cellular wireless management contract, which supplied 77% of its fiscal 2025 revenue and entered competitive renewal in November 2025.
Parsons Corporation competes with Telos Corporation to provide government buyers with cybersecurity and national-security solutions, but its substantial infrastructure business makes total revenue a less direct comparison. Watch Parsons’s Federal Solutions segment rather than its infrastructure work: it contributed 51% of fiscal 2025 revenue.

CACI’s report will show how much new and repeat U.S. government work it wins in cybersecurity, software and secure networks, the same markets where it competes with Telos.
Look at CACI’s new contracts and repeat business in cybersecurity, software and secure networks. Strength in both would show that government buyers are still paying for these capabilities and that CACI is capturing work, making the competition for Telos more immediate. Weakness in both would point to less momentum from CACI, but would not prove that Telos won the work.

Leidos’s report will show how much business federal contracts bring to this large technology and services contractor, offering a read on the government market that Telos also depends on.
Read Leidos’s government-contract revenue alongside its new-award activity. Strength in both would show federal customers are still directing work to technology and services contractors, supporting demand in a market Telos serves too. Weakness in both would raise concern about softer federal demand, but Leidos’s larger, different business mix means its results cannot stand in for Telos’s own.

Telos’s identity programs drive Security Solutions while Secure Networks has been shrinking, and this report will show whether the former can keep contributing revenue and gross profit to offset the latter.
Read Security Solutions revenue alongside its gross margin—the share of revenue left after direct delivery costs—and then check Secure Networks revenue. Steady or rising revenue and margin in the first segment, with the second stabilizing, would show that identity-led growth has profit behind it and is beginning to offset the network decline. If Security Solutions weakens while Secure Networks keeps falling, Telos still lacks growth to replace the work it is losing.
