Jianzhi Education Technology Group helps colleges, government institutions and other organizations in China run teaching, campus and administrative systems. Customers pay it to design and develop software, procure and assemble equipment, and provide technical support and maintenance. These IT projects generate most of its revenue. It wins most institutional projects through tenders, sometimes bundling IT systems with educational content; once a bid is accepted, it cannot raise the quoted price to cover additional costs.
Its smaller educational-content business sells institutions subscriptions to Sentu Academy and other online learning platforms, giving students access through campus networks. It also licenses content to libraries and other institutions and sells mobile video packages to individuals through channels such as Tianyi Video. The content focuses on practical skills, employment and professional-exam preparation rather than compulsory-school tutoring.
Revenue depends heavily on a small number of large customers. Many institutional customers are public colleges that rely on government funding, so education budgets influence their ability to place orders.
The listed company is a Cayman Islands holding company. Because China restricts foreign ownership in parts of the business, it controls Beijing Sentu and receives its economic benefits through contracts rather than direct ownership. That arrangement depends on enforceable contracts and regulatory acceptance. Online educational services also require operating permits, and uncertainty over whether additional publishing or audiovisual licenses are required could restrict those services.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Jianzhi’s results depend chiefly on concentrated demand from Chinese institutions for customized IT systems and equipment, which generated roughly 74% of its 2025 revenue—not educational content.
Wah Fu competes with Jianzhi for Chinese institutions buying online learning platforms, course content and related technology to serve students. Its focus on platforms for self-study degree examinations makes that business a comparison for Jianzhi’s institutional learning subscriptions, rather than its broader IT projects.
JIADE LIMITED competes with Jianzhi in selling education-management platforms and supporting technology services to Chinese educational institutions. Its KB Platform, which helps adult-education institutions manage students from enrollment through graduation, is the clearest comparison with Jianzhi’s education-management systems.
17 Education and Jianzhi both depend on Chinese schools’ and education authorities’ spending on digital infrastructure: 17 Education sells teaching software and hardware packages, while Jianzhi supplies education-management and smart-campus systems. Watch purchases of 17 Education’s paid teaching-and-learning packages by schools and regional education authorities as a signal of demand in this market.
Youdao competes with Jianzhi for higher-education students and adult learners through adult courses and China University MOOC, overlapping with Jianzhi’s content sold through institutional subscriptions and individual video packages. Youdao’s adult-course business is the relevant comparison for Jianzhi’s learning content, not its main IT-systems business.
Youdao, Inc. earningsDAO
Youdao’s report will show how its adult-course business is doing, offering a competition check for Jianzhi’s learning content.
Look at how Youdao’s adult-course business performs. Strength would suggest learners are still paying for this kind of content, a supportive signal for demand around Jianzhi’s learning products; weakness would point to a less favorable demand or competitive backdrop. The companies sell through different products and channels, so this is a market signal, not a result for Jianzhi itself.
17 Education & Technology Group Inc. earningsYQ
17 Education’s report will show whether schools and regional education authorities are buying its paid teaching packages, a demand signal for Jianzhi’s campus systems.
Look at purchases of 17 Education’s paid teaching packages by schools and regional education authorities. Stronger purchases would suggest education customers are still spending on digital tools, a supportive signal for demand for Jianzhi’s education-management and smart-campus systems; weaker purchases would point to tighter spending and a harder market for Jianzhi’s institutional projects. The products differ, so this reflects market demand, not Jianzhi’s orders.
