PC Connection Inc helps organizations choose, buy and put technology to work under its Connection brand. It buys products from manufacturers and distributors for resale rather than manufacturing them. Business customers account for most sales, with governments and educational institutions providing a smaller share; almost all sales are to US customers. Hardware carries most revenue, with notebooks and mobile devices the largest product category. Customers also pay for software and services such as configuration, installation and ongoing management.
Most products ship directly from suppliers to customers. PC Connection’s engineers design customer-specific solutions, while its MarkITplace system lets corporate buyers compare supplier inventory and pricing. These services support the product-resale business rather than replacing it.
The company has no dominant customer, but it relies heavily on suppliers. TD Synnex and Ingram Micro are major purchasing sources, and Microsoft, HP and Dell products are important to its offering. Some manufacturers restrict which products it can sell or which customers it can serve. Government sales also require compliance with procurement and contract rules; noncompliance can bar it from government business, and agencies can cancel orders with little notice.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
PC Connection depends on business and government IT spending, reliable supply from Microsoft, HP and Dell, and competition with major reseller CDW, which is absent from this list.
Insight Enterprises competes with PC Connection to sell IT hardware, software and solution services to enterprise and public-sector buyers. Its sales to those customers offer a read on the IT spending both resellers pursue.
ePlus competes with PC Connection for enterprise, government and education buyers, combining multiple vendors’ IT products into integrated solutions. Watch its sales to state and local government customers, including education institutions, for a view of spending that also matters to PC Connection’s public-sector business.
PC Connection relies on TD SYNNEX, which buys computers and IT infrastructure products from manufacturers and sells them to resellers; it supplied approximately 25% of PC Connection’s product purchases in 2025. Watch its computer and infrastructure sales for demand from businesses and public-sector buyers, and its supply availability for potential short-term disruption at PC Connection.
Ingram Micro supplies technology products to resellers such as PC Connection and accounted for approximately 21% of its product purchases in 2025. Losing that supply could disrupt PC Connection in the short term, even though it believes alternative sources are available.
Microsoft supplies software and devices that PC Connection resells, but also competes for customers through direct software and cloud sales. Microsoft-made products represented approximately 16% of PC Connection’s product purchases in 2025, making supply disruptions a risk to its results and cash flow.
PC Connection Inc earningsThis company
PC Connection's report will show whether sales to enterprise and small-business customers can grow while gross margins hold, and whether its public-sector business is stabilizing.
Compare net sales and gross margin in Enterprise, Business and Public Sector Solutions. Growth in the first two with margins holding, alongside stabilizing public-sector sales, would show that growth is not coming at the cost of profit on each sale and that demand is broadening. Falling margins and further public-sector weakness would mean sales are not building a stronger profit base.
Microsoft Corp earningsMSFT
Microsoft's report will show how demand for its software and cloud services is changing, helping distinguish broader IT spending from customers shifting to offerings Microsoft sells directly.
Compare Microsoft's reported software and cloud demand with PC Connection's software sales and segment sales. Growth at both would point more toward expanding IT budgets; Microsoft growth alongside weaker related sales at PC Connection would make a shift to cloud services or direct vendor purchases a greater concern for its resale business.
Ingram Micro Holding Corporation earningsINGM
Ingram Micro's report will offer a read on the business and supply of a major distributor that helps PC Connection obtain the products it sells.
Watch Ingram Micro's distribution sales and any disclosures of supply constraints, then compare them with PC Connection's product sales. Steady distribution activity without clear supply problems would support a functioning supply channel; weakness or reported disruption matters because about one-fifth of PC Connection's product purchases came from Ingram Micro in 2025.
Insight Enterprises Inc earningsNSIT
Insight Enterprises' report will show the strength of enterprise demand for IT products and solutions that it and PC Connection both sell.
Compare Insight's sales to enterprise customers with PC Connection's Enterprise Solutions net sales. Growth at both would show that enterprise IT demand is supporting these providers; weakness at Insight would point to a possible slowdown even if PC Connection is still growing, while allowing for differences in their customer and product mix.
ePlus Inc earningsPLUS
ePlus's report will show whether state and local governments and educational institutions are spending more on IT, a key read-through for PC Connection's public-sector business.
Compare ePlus's sales to state and local governments and educational institutions with PC Connection's Public Sector Solutions net sales. Improvement at both would suggest these customers' IT purchasing is recovering; weakness at ePlus alongside weak PC Connection sales would point to budgets or purchasing priorities continuing to restrain demand.
