BlossomHill Therapeutics is testing medicines for cancers defined by specific genetic changes. Its lead candidate, BH-30643, is in the early-stage SOLARA clinical trial for EGFR-mutant non-small cell lung cancer. It is designed to address mutations that can make existing treatments ineffective. A second candidate, BH-30236, is in early clinical testing for acute myeloid leukemia that has returned or resisted treatment and higher-risk myelodysplastic syndromes.
Neither candidate is approved for sale, and BlossomHill has never earned revenue from product sales. Investors have supplied its operating funds primarily through share issuances. It needs substantial additional capital to complete development; future drug sales depend on demonstrating safety and effectiveness, obtaining regulatory approval and securing insurer or government reimbursement.
BlossomHill relies on outside organizations to run studies and clinical trials and manufacture its candidates. It has no manufacturing facilities, so advancing its medicines also depends on those providers delivering usable trial data and supplies that meet regulatory standards.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Black Diamond Therapeutics' silevertinib rivals BlossomHill's BH-30643 for EGFR-mutant lung cancer, including disease resistant to earlier treatment; both candidates are designed to reach the brain. Watch silevertinib's Phase 2 lung-cancer results for the clinical standard BH-30643 will need to meet.
ArriVent BioPharma competes with BlossomHill's BH-30643 across classical and uncommon EGFR-mutant lung cancers. Its EGFR-inhibitor trial progress matters for those overlapping patient groups, but ArriVent had no approved products or revenue in 2025.
AstraZeneca's Tagrisso is the established first-line treatment for classical EGFR-mutant lung cancer that BlossomHill's BH-30643 aims to improve upon, including by addressing C797S resistance. Tagrisso sales show the incumbent business, but BlossomHill's reported laboratory and preliminary clinical comparisons do not establish head-to-head superiority.
Oric Pharmaceuticals' enozertinib competes with BlossomHill's BH-30643 for lung-cancer patients with EGFR exon 20 insertions or atypical mutations. Watch enozertinib's clinical results in those groups, rather than sales: ORIC's candidates were not yet approved for marketing at year-end 2025.
Cullinan Therapeutics overlaps two BlossomHill programs: zipalertinib targets EGFR exon 20 insertion lung cancer alongside BH-30643, while CLN-049 overlaps BH-30236 in acute myeloid leukemia and myelodysplastic syndromes. Taiho will sell zipalertinib, with Cullinan entitled to half of future pre-tax profits from potential U.S. sales—proceeds it identifies as funding for further development, including CLN-049.
Johnson & Johnson already sells amivantamab-based treatments for EGFR-mutant lung-cancer patients BlossomHill hopes to reach with BH-30643. Its approved amivantamab-plus-lazertinib regimen is a treatment BH-30643 would face if BlossomHill pursues first-line classical EGFR mutations.
Erasca's ERAS-4001 is already in clinical development, ahead of BlossomHill's preclinical BH-501284; both seek broad KRAS inhibition while sparing HRAS and NRAS. ERAS-4001's clinical progress is the closer test of this approach, while its reported potency and selectivity remain preclinical findings.
BridgeBio Oncology Therapeutics develops KRAS inhibitors for cancer patients overlapping BlossomHill's intended BH-501284 population, so its progress could narrow BH-501284's commercial opportunity. Watch its clinical pipeline and plans to combine inhibitors in KRAS-mutant tumors; it has no approved products or revenue from its candidates.
Revolution Medicines' broad and mutation-specific RAS inhibitors set clinical benchmarks for BlossomHill's preclinical BH-501284. BlossomHill cites positive pivotal Phase 3 results for daraxonrasib in previously treated metastatic pancreatic cancer as the most advanced broad-RAS competitor's progress to watch.
Adlai Nortye's oral AN9025 is in Phase 1, ahead of BlossomHill's preclinical BH-501284, with overlapping cancer populations despite targeting RAS broadly rather than KRAS alone. Watch AN9025's patient results: Adlai Nortye's reported potency advantage over a clinical benchmark comes from laboratory and animal models, not a clinical comparison.
AstraZeneca PLC earningsAZN
AstraZeneca's report will show the strength of Tagrisso's established business, the first-line competitor BlossomHill Therapeutics' BH-30643 aims to improve upon.
Look at AstraZeneca's reported Tagrisso sales. Sustained strength would show that BH-30643, if it advances, would face a firmly established treatment business; weakening sales would show pressure on that incumbent, not that patients are switching to BH-30643 or that it works.
Black Diamond Therapeutics, Inc. earningsBDTX
Black Diamond Therapeutics' report will provide clinical progress on its brain-reaching EGFR drug candidate to compare with BlossomHill Therapeutics' BH-30643.
Look at Black Diamond Therapeutics' reported silevertinib lung-cancer results, especially in EGFR-mutant groups overlapping with BH-30643 and in disease resistant to prior treatment. Stronger results would raise the clinical bar for BH-30643; weaker results would make this rival's evidence less compelling, not prove that BH-30643 is safer or more effective.
Erasca, Inc. earningsERAS
Erasca's report will show how its clinical effort to inhibit KRAS while sparing HRAS and NRAS is progressing, a benchmark for BlossomHill Therapeutics' preclinical candidate BH-501284.
Look at Erasca's reported clinical progress for ERAS-4001; it and BH-501284 both aim to inhibit KRAS while sparing HRAS and NRAS. Stronger progress in patients would support the approach clinically and raise the bar for BH-501284; setbacks would leave the approach less supported in patients, but would not predict how BlossomHill's still-preclinical candidate will perform.
BlossomHill Therapeutics, Inc. earningsThis company
BlossomHill Therapeutics has no product-sales revenue, so this report will show whether its clinical programs are advancing as research and development spending grows.
Read research and development expense and net loss alongside reported clinical progress, particularly for BH-30643. Advancing trials alongside higher spending would show the investment is moving the pipeline forward; costs and losses rising without comparable progress would suggest capital is being used faster than the programs are advancing, leaving development more dependent on financing.
