Most of Solowin Holdings’ revenue comes from enterprise customers paying for AI infrastructure. Its KOVAR platform gives businesses access to models such as GPT, Claude and Gemini, routes requests between them, and controls and monitors what AI agents can do. Customers pay usage charges, subscriptions and deployment fees. Revenue depends heavily on a small group of AI infrastructure customers, while delivery depends on outside cloud providers, computing capacity and model suppliers.
The company also helps institutions use digital money and turn financial assets into blockchain-based tokens. Approved AX COIN customers deposit fiat currency to receive fully backed stablecoins and return them to redeem cash. This business earns interest on backing reserves, making income sensitive to interest rates and stablecoin circulation. AX ONE charges for payments and related services, while FERION charges institutions and asset managers to structure, issue and administer tokenized assets.
Solowin shifted from a Hong Kong-focused brokerage and wealth-management business after acquiring AlloyX. Solomon JFZ still earns trading commissions through Solomon VA+, but the newer businesses remain early in commercialization. Regulatory permissions limit their scope: AX Coin Bahrain’s issuer license applies only to that subsidiary’s authorized activities, not to the group worldwide. Solomon JFZ’s virtual-asset dealing must use a Hong Kong-licensed platform and is limited to its existing securities-dealing clients.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Solowin now hinges chiefly on concentrated enterprise AI spending and cloud-service costs, with private AI gateways OpenRouter and Portkey also competing against its dominant KOVAR business.
Microsoft’s Azure AI Foundry competes with Solowin’s KOVAR for enterprise budgets spent on accessing AI models, deploying them and controlling their use. Watch Azure AI Foundry’s enterprise offerings: KOVAR charges those customers for model usage, governance subscriptions and deployment work.
Amazon Bedrock competes with Solowin’s KovaRouter for enterprises paying to access multiple AI models through one service and use the supporting infrastructure. Bedrock’s model-access offering is the part to watch against KOVAR’s usage-based AI fees.
Alphabet’s Google Vertex AI competes with Solowin’s KOVAR for enterprises paying to access and deploy AI models, while KovaRouter also offers Google’s Gemini models. Google’s Vertex AI and Gemini developments therefore matter on both sides of KOVAR’s model-access business.
Galaxy Digital overlaps with Solowin in serving institutions that trade digital assets, buy asset-management services and use infrastructure to safeguard assets. Watch Galaxy’s Global Markets transaction fees, which are typically tied to trading volume, alongside Solomon’s trading commissions.
Futu competes with Solowin’s Solomon for customers paying for online securities trading and wealth services, and both face scrutiny over cross-border services for Chinese investors. Watch restrictions on Futu’s client funding: Solowin warns similar scrutiny could limit account funding and reduce trading commissions.
UP Fintech competes with Solowin’s Solomon for Asian investors paying to trade overseas securities and use wealth-management services. Watch UP Fintech’s customer trading volume and commission rates, the main drivers of its commission revenue and a useful comparison for Solomon’s brokerage fees.
Interactive Brokers competes with Solowin’s Solomon for individual and institutional clients using brokerage services to trade global securities and access regulated cryptocurrency trading in Hong Kong. Its Hong Kong Bitcoin and Ether trading and holding services are the offering to watch against Solomon’s combined securities and virtual-asset platform.
Solowin relies on Visa’s network to let customers spend with AX ONE prepaid cards, while Visa also competes for commercial and cross-border payments. Watch Visa’s card-network rules and money-movement services: AX ONE earns fees on card spending, and compliance failures could cost Solowin its network access.
Galaxy Digital Inc. earningsGLXY
Galaxy Digital’s transaction fees show how active institutional digital-asset trading is in a market where Solowin’s Solomon also earns commissions.
Read Galaxy Digital’s Global Markets transaction fees alongside its trading volumes, then compare that picture with Solomon’s commissions on trading value. Fees rising with volume would point to more institutional trading activity and a potentially larger opportunity for Solomon; both weakening would suggest the market is cooling, but would not prove Solomon’s own customers traded less.
VISA Inc. earningsV
Visa’s report shows activity across a payment network that Solowin relies on for AX ONE prepaid cards.
Look at Visa’s disclosures on card spending and money-movement services. Stronger activity would point to firmer payment demand across the network and a better backdrop for AX ONE’s fees on card spending; weaker activity would mean a smaller potential base for those fees. Visa’s overall figures do not establish AX ONE usage or Solowin’s network access or compliance.
Fed Interest Rate Decision
Solowin’s rate-sensitive reserve assets and treasury balances can earn more or less interest as the Fed changes the cost of borrowing across the economy.

If it comes in above expectations
Higher borrowing costs can also make it more expensive for Solowin to fund expansion, while higher rates may lift interest earned on reserve assets and treasury balances.
If it comes in below expectations
Lower borrowing costs may ease the expense of funding expansion, but lower rates can reduce interest earned on Solowin’s reserve assets and treasury balances.
Amazon.Com Inc earningsAMZN
Amazon’s report shows enterprise demand for cloud AI services, where its Bedrock service competes with Solowin’s KovaRouter for paid access to multiple AI models.
Look for Amazon’s disclosures on demand for AWS and AI services such as Bedrock. Stronger enterprise demand would suggest a larger market for paid AI-model access, but Bedrock is also competing for the budgets KovaRouter targets; weaker demand would make the market for KOVAR’s usage-based fees less favorable. Amazon’s overall figures will not show how many customers KovaRouter won or lost.
Futu Holdings Limited earningsFUTU
Futu’s disclosures on client funding and trading show whether restrictions are affecting Asian investors, a risk that also matters to Solowin’s Solomon brokerage business.
Read Futu’s disclosures on client funding, cross-border service restrictions and trading activity. Funding access and trading holding up would suggest investors can still move money to trade overseas securities, a steadier backdrop for Solomon’s similar business; tighter restrictions and weaker activity would sharpen the policy risk to Solowin’s brokerage commissions, but would not prove the same restrictions apply to Solowin.
UP Fintech Holding Ltd earningsTIGR
UP Fintech’s trading volumes and commission rates show demand for overseas securities trading among Asian investors, a market Solomon also serves.
Read UP Fintech’s customer trading volume alongside its commission rates, then compare that with Solomon’s 0.05%–0.2% commission on trading value. Rising volume with stable rates would point to healthy demand for similar overseas securities trading; falling volume or rates would suggest less activity or more price pressure, potentially limiting Solomon’s commission opportunity, though the two companies do not have identical customers or rates.
