After spinning off its drug-development business into First Tracks Biotherapeutics, AnaptysBio focuses on managing payments from licensed medicines. It does not sell drugs itself and does not expect to conduct further research and development. Almost all its revenue comes from GSK’s commercialization of Jemperli, a drug approved for several endometrial cancer uses. GSK develops and markets the drug, while AnaptysBio holds rights to sales royalties and certain milestone payments.
Those revenue rights do not currently translate directly into cash receipts for AnaptysBio. It previously received cash from Sagard in exchange for Jemperli royalty and milestone receivables. Sagard collects these payments until an agreed cumulative threshold is reached; subsequent payments then return to AnaptysBio.
AnaptysBio also licensed Quimilza to Vanda for development and commercialization. The treatment for generalized pustular psoriasis is awaiting FDA approval. Vanda pays license and transition-service fees, and AnaptysBio is eligible for royalties on future sales, but the milestone-payment rights belong to First Tracks Biotherapeutics.
The business depends heavily on GSK’s sales efforts and on preserving contractual and patent rights supporting royalties. AnaptysBio does not control GSK’s marketing. It is also litigating with GSK and its subsidiary Tesaro over the collaboration agreement, seeking the return of Jemperli rights; the dispute leaves those rights uncertain.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
AnaptysBio’s value hinges chiefly on GSK’s Jemperli sales and Vanda’s commercialization of Quimilza, but Sagard receives the monetized Jemperli royalties until its contractual receipt threshold is reached.
AnaptysBio depends on GSK to develop and sell its licensed cancer treatment Jemperli, earning sales royalties and potential milestone payments in return. Watch Jemperli sales: its non-cash royalties accounted for $51.203 million of AnaptysBio’s $53.044 million collaboration revenue in the first six months of 2026.
AnaptysBio relies on Vanda Pharmaceuticals to develop and commercialize its licensed Quimilza treatment for generalized pustular psoriasis, with AnaptysBio entitled to 10% of net sales. Watch the FDA’s decision on Quimilza, targeted for December 12, 2026, as the next step toward those sales royalties.
Merck sells Keytruda, Jemperli’s biggest competitor, so its clinical results and pricing can affect Jemperli sales and the royalties AnaptysBio earns from GSK. Watch competition from similar versions of Keytruda, known as biosimilars: AnaptysBio expects them to materially hurt Keytruda sales in 2028–2029, but says their effect on Jemperli remains uncertain.

GSK’s report will show how Jemperli is selling, and royalties from the drug make up most of AnaptysBio’s collaboration revenue.
Watch GSK’s disclosure of Jemperli sales. Stronger sales would better support the royalties AnaptysBio is entitled to under its agreement; weaker sales would put pressure on AnaptysBio’s main revenue source, whose marketing GSK controls.

Merck’s report will show how Keytruda is selling, offering a read on competition facing Jemperli, the main source of AnaptysBio’s collaboration revenue.
Treat Keytruda sales as a clue to competition, not as a proxy for Jemperli sales. Strong Keytruda sales would show that the major competitor remains established; weaker sales could ease pressure on Jemperli, but would not prove that Jemperli sales or AnaptysBio’s royalties are rising.

AnaptysBio no longer runs a drug-development business, so this report will show whether Jemperli royalties from GSK can support its leaner operations.
Read Jemperli royalties alongside continuing-operations costs and cash use. Steady royalties with contained costs would show that GSK-driven income is supporting AnaptysBio’s business of collecting collaboration payments; falling royalties or rising costs would point to greater dependence on GSK’s future sales and other payments.
