Solitario Resources Corp. looks for mineral deposits that could become commercially viable mines. It acquires exploration properties and investigates them itself or with partners. Buyers of property interests and joint-venture partners have provided payments, but these transactions are infrequent, not a steady annual revenue stream. The company has never developed a property, and neither it nor its partners currently conduct mine development or mining operations at its properties. Share sales, investment sales and investment income have helped fund exploration and overhead.
Its core assets include the Florida Canyon zinc project in Peru, the Lik zinc project in Alaska and Golden Crest in South Dakota. Nexa funds Solitario’s share of Florida Canyon costs through to production; Teck is its partner at Lik. Solitario explores Golden Crest on its own. Progress at Florida Canyon and Lik depends substantially on the partners that control most exploration decisions, including budgets and the pace of work.
None of its projects has mineral reserves reported under SEC rules. Turning exploration into sale proceeds or a development agreement depends on further work establishing an economically viable deposit and finding buyers or partners. Drilling and other exploration also require government permits, which can limit or delay that work.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Solitario Resources Corp.’s prospects hinge on discoveries and financing, with Nexa funding its Florida Canyon zinc interest through to production and Teck partnering on Lik.
Santacruz Silver Mining Ltd.’s exposure to zinc prices offers a read on the economics of Solitario’s Florida Canyon and Lik zinc projects. Santacruz earns nearly all its revenue selling silver and zinc in concentrate form; its zinc sales are the line to watch.
Coeur Mining operates the Wharf gold mine in South Dakota’s Black Hills, the same area where Solitario explores its Golden Crest gold project. Wharf’s operating news offers a local reference for Golden Crest, though Solitario is still exploring rather than producing gold.
Silver Bow Mining Corp. shares Solitario’s exposure to zinc-project values and funding for US exploration: both advance mineral properties without mine revenue. Silver Bow explores zinc and other metals in Montana; progress toward a feasibility study at Rainbow Block is the concrete milestone to watch.
Fury Gold Mines Limited and Solitario’s Golden Crest project both seek value from gold discoveries before establishing economically recoverable reserves or starting production. For both, the key is whether exploration can establish gold deposits worth mining, rather than current gold sales.
Fed Interest Rate Decision
Solitario earns interest on its money-market account and short-term investments, so the Fed’s decision on the cost of borrowing can change the interest income it receives on those funds.

If it comes in above expectations
Higher rates can increase the interest Solitario earns on its cash and short-term investments, while making any new borrowing costlier if it needs outside capital.
If it comes in below expectations
Lower rates can reduce the interest Solitario earns on its cash and short-term investments, while making any new borrowing cheaper if it needs outside capital.
Solitario Resources Corp. earningsThis company
Solitario’s report will show whether its available funds and partners’ contributions can support the company’s exploration work.
Read cash and short-term investments alongside cash used in operations, exploration spending, and the costs covered by joint-venture partners. If cash use fits the resources available and partners keep sharing costs, Solitario has more room to advance exploration. If cash use accelerates or partners cover less, the company may need more outside funding or slower project work.
Fury Gold Mines Limited earningsFURY
Fury Gold Mines Limited’s report will show whether exploration is moving a gold discovery closer to economically mineable reserves, the same challenge facing Solitario’s Golden Crest project.
Look for exploration results and signs that project evaluation is advancing. If the results support a valuable gold discovery and evaluation moves forward, that shows how exploration can build stronger evidence for a project—a useful reference for Golden Crest, but not proof it will succeed. If progress is limited, Golden Crest still faces the same challenge: spending on exploration does not guarantee a mineable deposit.
Silver Bow Mining Corp. earningsSBMT
Silver Bow Mining Corp.’s report will show whether its Rainbow Block zinc project is moving toward a feasibility study and whether funding is keeping pace with US exploration, both relevant to Solitario’s project and funding choices.
Look for how far Rainbow Block has moved toward a feasibility study, and whether the report indicates enough funding to support exploration. Progress with funding in place would show that a zinc project can keep building evidence toward a development decision, a useful reference for Solitario. Stalled work or strained funding would point to a harder path, but would not establish that Solitario’s projects face the same outcome.
Santacruz Silver Mining Ltd. earningsSCZM
Santacruz Silver Mining Ltd.’s zinc sales will show how its zinc business is faring, offering a market reference for Solitario’s Florida Canyon and Lik zinc projects.
Read Santacruz Silver Mining Ltd.’s zinc sales separately from its silver-related sales. Stronger zinc sales would show better revenue support for a zinc producer and a more supportive market reference for Solitario’s zinc projects. Weaker sales could reflect prices, volumes, or both: a caution about the market, not a direct measure of Solitario’s project value.
