SAGTEC GLOBAL LIMITED helps businesses, particularly restaurants and other food-and-beverage operators, handle orders and payments through Speed+. Customers pay monthly or yearly for cloud software bundled with hardware, including checkout terminals sourced from outside suppliers. The company also sells self-service ordering kiosks. Speed+ subscriptions are its largest revenue source, and kiosk sales are another major contributor.
Services generate most revenue overall. Beyond ordering systems, customers pay for customized software development and for processing and analyzing their data. The company also operates power-bank charging stations in Malaysia through its majority-owned subsidiary CL Technologies.
Sagtec sells directly and through regional dealers and resellers. Subscribers license directly with Sagtec, but subscriber growth partly depends on dealers, whose largest accounts supply most revenue. Major customers include SM Prominent Sdn Bhd, KLC Ventures Sdn Bhd and Rams Solutions Sdn Bhd. Hardware supply is also concentrated, with two vendors accounting for most purchasing costs. Its Malaysian operations must meet business-licensing, personal-data and cybersecurity requirements.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
SAGTEC’s results depend on Malaysian businesses’ digitalization spending, with SM Prominent, KLC Ventures and Rams Solutions together accounting for 57.35% of its 2025 revenue.
Lightspeed Commerce Inc. offers a comparison for SAGTEC’s Speed+ subscriptions: both charge restaurants and retailers for cloud software that handles checkout, ordering and business management, but SAGTEC operates in Malaysia while Lightspeed focuses on North American retail and European hospitality. Watch Lightspeed’s software subscription revenue for a read on merchants’ spending on these tools, rather than a direct signal of Malaysian demand.
Orangekloud Technology Inc. competes with SAGTEC for businesses paying to customize management software and build web or mobile applications, with both operating in Malaysia. Its eMOBIQ platform lets customers build applications without writing code, making its application projects a useful comparison for SAGTEC’s custom-development business.
Republic Power Group Limited competes with SAGTEC for corporate and SME spending on customized business-management software in Southeast Asia. Republic Power earns fixed-price project fees to design and install software around clients’ operations; its development revenue is a closer comparison for SAGTEC’s consultation and development fees than for Speed+ subscriptions.
Fed Interest Rate Decision
SAGTEC’s Fed-linked financing costs matter because most of its facilities are periodically repriced, and higher borrowing costs can reduce the profit left after paying interest.

If it comes in above expectations
Higher rates could raise the cost of repriced facilities and new borrowing, increasing interest expense and leaving less profit for SAGTEC.
If it comes in below expectations
Lower rates could ease the cost of repriced facilities and new borrowing, reducing interest expense and leaving more profit for SAGTEC.

Lightspeed Commerce’s report will show whether merchants keep paying for checkout, ordering and business-management software, offering a read-through for SAGTEC GLOBAL’s Speed+ subscriptions.
Watch whether Lightspeed Commerce’s software subscription revenue continues to grow or slows. Continued growth would show merchants still pay for cloud checkout, ordering and management tools, a supportive read-through for demand for SAGTEC GLOBAL’s Speed+ subscriptions. A slowdown would flag weaker spending on these tools, but would not establish that demand is weakening in Malaysia.
