Company

Company overview

Quantum eMotion Corp. uses quantum effects to generate unpredictable random numbers for encryption and secure digital communications. This technology, called quantum random number generation, supplies randomness that organizations can use to create encryption keys, authenticate users and sign digital documents. Its Entropy as a Service offering delivers randomness over the internet, while its software development kit helps developers build secure communications.

Partners pay Quantum eMotion royalties when they sell products using its technology. Its first revenue came from Greybox Solutions and Krown Technologies, with Greybox supplying most of it. Krown licenses the technology for blockchain applications, including the Excalibur hardware wallet. The business remains early in commercialization, and near-term revenue growth depends on these partners’ sales; direct sales are a possible additional route, not an established revenue source.

Its software is commercially ready, while hardware products remain at various development stages. Product sales also depend on required regulatory approvals, and restrictions on blockchain and encryption technologies can limit where it operates.

Quantum eMotion’s near-term revenue depends on licensing partners bringing products to market, especially Greybox and Krown, which generated all its reported 2025 royalties.

  • Arqit Quantum Inc. competes for enterprise and government spending on secure communications, selling quantum-safe encryption and encryption-risk assessments where Quantum eMotion offers quantum-generated randomness and secure-communications software.
