Pursuit owns and operates attractions and lodging for visitors to national parks and other travel destinations in Canada, the United States, Iceland and Costa Rica. Visitors pay for admission and rooms, then may spend on meals, shopping and transportation within the same destination. Attractions bring in the most revenue, followed by hospitality; transportation is a smaller business. Experiences include Maligne Lake Cruise, Columbia Icefield attractions and Tabacón Thermal Resort & Spa. Guests book directly or through online travel platforms, group bookings and travel-trade partners.
Canada supplies most of Pursuit’s revenue, and business is heavily concentrated in the summer travel season. Earnings depend on people’s willingness and ability to travel and on destinations remaining accessible: weather or park closures can cut visitor numbers during the busiest months.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Vail Resorts competes with Pursuit for visitors buying destination recreation and lodging, with its national-park lodging especially close to Pursuit’s park-oriented stays. Watch Vail’s lodging business, including Grand Teton Lodge Company, rather than treating its ski-pass sales as a direct guide to Pursuit.
United Parks & Resorts and Pursuit both depend on visitors paying for attraction admission, then spending on food and merchandise. United Parks’ theme-park attendance and guests’ spending beyond admission offer a comparison for Pursuit’s visitor numbers and revenue per attraction visitor.
Walt Disney’s parks and resorts draw on the same destination-travel spending that supports Pursuit’s attractions and lodges. Watch Disney’s Experiences business for that comparison, rather than its film, television or streaming results.
Ryman Hospitality Properties and Pursuit both earn from destination stays and visitor experiences: Ryman combines resort hotels with entertainment, while Pursuit pairs lodges with sightseeing attractions. Ryman’s greater reliance on group meetings makes spending by its regional leisure guests a closer comparison for Pursuit than meeting-related hotel business.
Ryman Hospitality Properties, Inc earningsRHP
Ryman Hospitality Properties, Inc's report will show whether regional leisure guests are still spending at its resort hotels, a closer comparison for demand at Pursuit's lodges than its meeting business.
Separate leisure performance at Ryman's resort hotels from its meeting business. Steady leisure demand would show that travelers are still spending on destination stays, a supportive signal for the demand Pursuit's lodges depend on. If results are strong mainly because of meetings while leisure weakens, Ryman's overall performance would not be good evidence that demand for Pursuit's lodging is firm.

Pursuit's report will show whether attraction visitors are spending more and whether lodge occupancy and room rates are supporting hospitality revenue.
Read attraction visitor numbers alongside revenue per attraction visitor, then check lodge occupancy and average room rates. More visitors and higher revenue per visitor, with occupancy and rates holding up, would show that both attraction spending and lodging demand are supporting revenue. Weaker visitor or per-visitor figures, or falling occupancy or rates, would point to pressure on the relevant business. Read total revenue growth alongside newly added or acquired operations; the total alone cannot show that demand at established businesses strengthened.
United Parks & Resorts Inc. earningsPRKS
United Parks & Resorts Inc.'s report will show whether visitors are still buying admission and spending inside its parks, a close comparison for Pursuit's attractions.
Read United Parks' attendance alongside revenue per visitor. Steady attendance with higher revenue per visitor would show that guests are still coming and spending beyond admission, a supportive comparison for Pursuit's visitor numbers and per-visitor revenue. If attendance or spending per visitor falls, pressure on Pursuit's visitor demand or on-site spending deserves closer attention.
Vail Resorts, Inc. earningsMTN
Vail Resorts' report will show whether its national-park lodging draws guests and sustains room rates, a comparison for destination demand and competition facing Pursuit.
Focus on whether Vail's national-park lodging keeps attracting guests and holding room rates. Firm demand and rates would show that destination stays remain appealing, but also that Pursuit is competing for those visitors. Weakness could point to softer demand or less pricing power; it would not, by itself, show that guests are choosing Pursuit instead.
