Purple Biotech is a clinical-stage drug developer, not a seller of approved cancer medicines. CM24 and NT219 are in clinical trials, while IM1240 and IM1305 remain in preclinical development. The latter two come from its CAPTN-3 platform, which designs antibodies to bring immune cells and tumor cells together, with a removable mask intended to limit immune activation outside tumors.
None of these candidates generates revenue. The company’s only revenue to date came from initial milestone payments under former Consensi commercialization agreements, which ended in 2021. It now seeks development and commercialization partners, with future income intended to come from licensing arrangements, partner royalties or sales of approved drugs. Equity offerings have primarily funded its research.
Advancing the pipeline depends on additional funding or partnerships; further development of CM24 and NT219 is planned only after securing a partner or sufficient investment. Purple Biotech relies substantially on outside organizations to run studies and manufacture its candidates. Before any candidate can be sold, it must pass further testing and obtain regulatory approval.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Purple Biotech Ltd.’s results hinge chiefly on advancing and financing CAPTN-3, its platform for directing immune cells against tumors, while further development of CM24 and NT219 depends on partnering or sufficient investment.
Context Therapeutics Inc. competes with Purple Biotech Ltd. to develop antibodies that direct immune cells against solid tumors: Context recruits T cells through CD3, while Purple’s CAPTN-3 recruits both T cells and NK cells. Watch Context’s Phase 1 CTIM-76 results for how selectively it attacks CLDN6-bearing tumors, a key challenge alongside Purple’s effort to confine immune activation to tumors.
GT Biopharma Inc. offers a read-through on the safety and effectiveness of directing patients’ natural killer (NK) cells against cancer with fusion proteins, while Purple Biotech Ltd.’s CAPTN-3 antibodies recruit both NK cells and T cells. Watch whether GT’s TriKE results support its preclinical suggestion of less cytokine release syndrome and fewer neurological complications than T-cell immunotherapy.
Tvardi Therapeutics, Inc.’s cancer trial results are relevant to one central mechanism of Purple Biotech Ltd.’s NT219: Tvardi develops drugs that directly block STAT3, while NT219 inhibits both STAT3 and IRS1/2. Its Phase 1b/2 TTI-101 trial in locally advanced or metastatic, unresectable liver cancer is the concrete test to watch for clinical evidence on STAT3 inhibition.

Context Therapeutics’ report will show how its CTIM-76 trial is addressing the balance between attacking CLDN6-bearing tumors and limiting effects elsewhere, a challenge Purple Biotech also faces with CAPTN-3.
Watch the Phase 1 CTIM-76 results for tumor response alongside safety: can it act against target tumors without unacceptable effects elsewhere? A useful response with acceptable safety would support the prospect of focusing CD3-recruited T-cell activity on tumors. Limited response or safety problems would highlight the challenge Purple Biotech must also solve with CAPTN-3, which recruits both T cells and NK cells.

Tvardi Therapeutics’ report will show progress in its TTI-101 liver-cancer trial, offering clinical evidence relevant to the STAT3 pathway that Purple Biotech’s NT219 targets.
Look for tumor response and safety in TTI-101’s trial in locally advanced or metastatic, unresectable liver cancer. A meaningful response with acceptable safety would strengthen the clinical case for directly inhibiting STAT3, a target shared with NT219; limited or unclear results would leave that part of NT219’s rationale unproven. TTI-101 does not test NT219 or its additional IRS1/2 target.

Purple Biotech has no revenue from its drug candidates, so this report will show whether research spending is accelerating its need for funding or leaving room to advance development.
Read cash used in operations alongside cash, cash equivalents and short-term deposits at period-end, then check which programs account for research spending. Lower cash use while development continues suggests current funds can support the work for longer; faster cash use without financing or partner funding means Purple Biotech may need to raise money, find a partner or slow development.
