Payoneer gives marketplace sellers and other businesses a multi-currency account for money they receive from overseas customers. They can keep funds in different currencies, convert them, pay suppliers or withdraw to local bank accounts. Most revenue comes from transaction fees charged to customers using these funds, rather than from marketplaces paying Payoneer directly.
Payoneer also earns significant interest on customer balances, so earnings depend on both the funds customers leave on the platform and interest rates. Payments received by merchants from Amazon marketplaces generate a substantial share of revenue when those merchants use the funds. Access to Amazon’s payment ecosystem therefore matters to the business. Customers in Greater China also supply a large share of revenue.
Banks and payment providers collect, hold and settle funds for Payoneer; these relationships are necessary for it to operate in the markets it serves. Local licenses and payment rules limit where and how it can provide services. Its licensed entities must hold eligible liquid assets that fully cover customer funds, with segregation required in some jurisdictions.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Payoneer’s results hinge on cross-border trade by small and midsize businesses, interest rates on customer balances and competition from private payment platforms such as Airwallex.
Wise Group plc competes directly with Payoneer through Wise Business, helping small and midsize businesses hold international accounts, exchange currencies and collect or pay money across borders. Watch Wise Business’s payment and bill-management offerings rather than Wise’s broader consumer business.
PayPal competes with Payoneer for businesses selling internationally, collecting customer payments, converting currencies and moving their money. PayPal’s payment-transaction and currency-conversion fees are the revenue lines closest to this overlap.
Amazon is both a source of Payoneer’s business and a rival in seller payments: receipts from its worldwide marketplaces generated 21% of Payoneer’s revenue in 2025. Watch Amazon’s rules for approved payment providers, since changes can affect Payoneer’s access to sellers receiving money from consumer purchases.
Corpay competes with Payoneer for business customers that need to pay suppliers across borders, exchange currencies, manage bills and spend through commercial cards. Its Corporate Payments segment contains these overlapping services, making it more relevant than its vehicle or lodging payment businesses.
DLocal Limited processes payments for Payoneer but also competes with it to help enterprise customers collect and send money across borders in emerging markets. Its merchant processing and foreign-exchange fees capture the services behind both that supplier relationship and the competitive overlap.
Flywire competes with Payoneer to collect and settle cross-border business invoices and travel payments, charging organizations for payment services and software. Watch its travel and business-payment operations for this overlap; its education and healthcare focus makes the whole company a less direct comparison.
Shopify shares Payoneer’s exposure to online merchant sales: merchants pay Shopify for commerce software, while their sales create demand for the collections and payments Payoneer serves through its direct-to-consumer and Checkout offerings. Watch sales by Shopify merchants for a read on that demand, rather than treating software subscription revenue as payment activity.
Fed Interest Rate Decision
Payoneer earns interest on customer and corporate funds, so the Fed’s decision on short-term borrowing costs can change that income.

If it comes in above expectations
If rates are higher than expected, Payoneer may earn more interest on customer and corporate funds as rates rise, although the amount depends on how its balances and investments reprice.
If it comes in below expectations
If rates are lower than expected, Payoneer may earn less interest on customer and corporate funds as rates fall, reducing this source of income.
Amazon.Com Inc earningsAMZN
Amazon's report can show activity among its worldwide marketplace sellers and any disclosed change to payment-provider rules, both of which matter to Payoneer's opportunity to serve sellers receiving marketplace proceeds.
Use Amazon's third-party seller services figures to judge whether marketplace seller activity is expanding or slowing; they indicate the health of the seller ecosystem, not Payoneer's own transaction volume. If Amazon discloses a change to payment-provider eligibility or rules, assess whether it could affect Payoneer's access to those sellers. Stronger seller activity with unchanged access would support both demand and reach; weaker activity or tighter rules would mean less potential collection volume or a more limited ability to serve sellers.
Shopify Inc. earningsSHOP
Shopify's report can show whether merchant sales are strengthening or weakening, a source of potential demand for Payoneer's direct-to-consumer collections and Checkout services.
Focus on Shopify merchants' sales or gross merchandise volume, not software subscription revenue as a proxy for payment activity. Growing merchant sales mean more online sales for collection services to handle; slowing sales point to weaker potential payment demand. Shopify's figures cover its merchants overall, not Payoneer's own customers or transaction volume, so they indicate the direction of demand rather than a guaranteed change in Payoneer's revenue.
Payoneer Global Inc. earningsThis company
Payoneer earns mainly from fees when customers use its accounts and payment services, and this report will show whether transaction growth is translating into revenue despite changes in interest income on customer funds.
Read platform volume alongside revenue, then check interest income on customer funds and operating income. If volume grows and revenue keeps pace, more cross-border collections and payments are generating fees for Payoneer; if volume grows faster than revenue, revenue per unit of activity or the mix of transactions is weighing on monetization. Revenue growth with steady operating income would show that growth is carrying through to operating profit; weaker operating income also makes changes in interest income important. The conclusion is whether transaction growth is producing firmer revenue and earnings.
DLocal Limited earningsDLO
DLocal processes some payments for Payoneer and also competes in cross-border collections, so its merchant-processing and foreign-exchange business offers a view into a payment channel Payoneer uses.
Read DLocal's merchant-processing activity alongside related revenue to see whether its processing network is expanding or weakening. Activity growth accompanied by revenue growth would show a larger business at this processor; slowing activity or revenue lagging would signal pressure on its processing business. Because DLocal also competes with Payoneer, its growth is not proof of Payoneer growth, and its report alone does not show the fees it charges Payoneer. The takeaway is the condition of a processor Payoneer uses, not a definitive measure of Payoneer's costs.
Retail Sales MoM (Oct)
Payoneer charges transaction fees when its marketplace and other small-business customers use its cross-border payment services, so retail sales track demand that can change their payment activity and fees.
Stronger retail sales suggest firmer demand for goods sold by Payoneer’s marketplace and other small-business customers, which may support their payment activity and Payoneer’s transaction fees; weaker sales suggest the opposite.
