Nayax Ltd. supplies payment terminals and software to merchants operating vending machines, other self-service equipment and staffed stores. Its terminals accept cashless payments, while its software lets merchants monitor equipment remotely, track sales and manage inventory and pricing. Nayax connects merchants’ payments to banks and payment networks to complete transactions.
Merchants pay monthly software subscriptions, generally per connected device, and processing fees based on the value of payments handled. Together, these recurring fees generate most of Nayax’s revenue. Selling terminals also brings in one-time revenue and helps Nayax win customers for its ongoing services, although buying a terminal does not necessarily require using those services.
The business depends on merchants keeping devices connected, continuing to use its services and generating cashless sales. Existing customers supply most revenue, but Nayax is not reliant on a single customer. Payment processing also depends on banks, acquirers and other payment partners; in some countries, Nayax must work through authorized providers, and its services must comply with local regulation and card-network rules.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Nayax’s results hinge on growth in connected devices and cashless transaction volumes; Cantaloupe, its named unattended-retail competitor absent from this list, offers a closer competitive comparison.
Lightspeed Commerce competes with Nayax for staffed retail merchants, charging for software and payments that combine checkout, inventory management and loyalty tools. Watch Lightspeed’s revenue per customer for a comparison with Nayax’s efforts to sell merchants an integrated checkout and payments platform.
Mastercard and Nayax both benefit as purchases move from cash to digital payments: Mastercard earns from the network that routes payments between banks, while Nayax charges merchants to process purchases. Mastercard’s consumer debit and prepaid purchase volumes offer a broader gauge of the cashless spending that supports Nayax’s processing fees.
Fed Interest Rate Decision
For Nayax, the Fed’s policy rate—the benchmark that steers borrowing costs—can raise or lower interest on its variable-rate SOFR loans and, through small-business customers’ ability to pay and consumer spending, affect payment volumes and fees.

If it comes in above expectations
Higher rates can lift interest costs on Nayax’s SOFR loans and make borrowing harder for small-business merchants, potentially weakening their spending and transaction volumes on Nayax’s platform.
If it comes in below expectations
Lower rates can reduce interest costs on Nayax’s SOFR loans and ease small-business merchants’ borrowing burden, potentially supporting spending and transaction volumes that generate Nayax’s processing fees.
Mastercard Incorporated earningsMA
Mastercard's report will show whether debit and prepaid card spending is growing, a broad signal of whether the shift to cashless purchases is supporting the processing fees Nayax charges merchants.
Look at Mastercard's debit and prepaid purchase volumes. Growth would show more spending moving through digital payments, broadening the pool of transactions on which Nayax charges processing fees. A slowdown or decline would weaken that demand signal, but Mastercard's figures alone cannot show how Nayax's own transaction volume changed.
Nayax Ltd. earningsThis company
Nayax earns recurring software and payment fees from merchants as well as selling POS devices, and this report will show whether recurring growth is translating into stronger gross profit.
Read growth in SaaS subscriptions and payment-processing revenue alongside gross margin. Recurring revenue growth with a rising margin would show merchants are using more of the platform without device or processing costs eating up the gain. If revenue grows but the margin falls, the growth is less profitable; device mix or processing costs may be absorbing more of it.
