Company

Company overview

Brokers and other financial institutions use mF International’s Hong Kong subsidiary, m-FINANCE, to run online trading platforms for foreign exchange, precious metals and commodities. Customers pay to set up and customize their platforms, then pay subscriptions and fees for hosting, support and maintenance. This established software business supplies most revenue, with subscriptions the largest service category. Demand depends on customers’ trading activity and expansion needs, rather than any single key client.

Alongside that business, mF International owns digital assets, with its balance sheet heavily concentrated in Bitcoin Cash (BCH). It also receives premiums from options on BCH-linked securities. This investment business depends on digital-asset prices, and the company relies on third-party custodians to hold its cryptocurrencies.

BCH self-mining and life insurance denominated in digital assets remain plans, not operating businesses. The insurance business cannot start without Bermuda Monetary Authority approval: it must first obtain a sandbox license before qualifying for a full insurance license.

mF International’s investment results and balance sheet hinge heavily on BCH prices, but its operating revenue still comes mainly from Asian financial institutions buying trading software; mining and digital-asset life insurance remain plans.

  • mF International relies on Coinbase Global to safeguard part of its digital-asset holdings, while crypto prices affect mF’s investment returns and Coinbase earns fees from customers trading crypto. At December 31, 2025, Coinbase held 69.2% of mF’s stablecoins and 8.7% of its BCH, making news about its custody services worth watching for mF holders.
