DataMeds AI’s main business connects drug manufacturers with independent retail pharmacies in the United States. Its subsidiary Wellgistics LLC buys and distributes medicines to those pharmacies, with product sales accounting for the vast majority of revenue. It also earns revenue from storing, managing and shipping manufacturers’ inventory, and helps manufacturers introduce niche medicines to its pharmacy network.
The company also operates Wellgistics Pharmacy, which fills prescriptions and delivers medicines to patients, receiving insurance reimbursements and patient payments. DelivMeds connects this pharmacy with independent partner pharmacies, helping transfer prescriptions and coordinate patient support. Some manufacturers pay DelivMeds for access to its pharmacy network, reporting and data dashboards. The company plans to develop recurring technology transaction fees from prescription transfers; these should not be confused with its established wholesale revenue.
The business depends on access to manufacturers’ medicines and pharmacies willing and eligible to dispense them. Insurance reimbursement terms and pharmacy-network participation affect prescription revenue and the ability to route prescriptions through DelivMeds. Wholesale and dispensing operations require the relevant licenses, and dispensing is limited by pharmacy licensing and manufacturers’ restrictions on access to certain drugs. Patient data supplied to manufacturers are de-identified and must comply with HIPAA privacy requirements.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Cencora competes with DataMeds in selling drugs to pharmacies, but also supplies DataMeds’ own pharmacy under its former AmerisourceBergen name. Watch that supply agreement: it requires monthly purchases and a generic-drug compliance ratio, and a replacement supplier on favorable terms is not assured.
McKesson competes with DataMeds for retail pharmacies buying drugs and manufacturers buying technology and services that help patients obtain prescriptions. Its Prescription Technology Solutions business is the part to watch for competition with DataMeds’ DelivMeds platform, which connects patients, providers, pharmacies and drug manufacturers.
Cardinal Health competes with DataMeds for pharmacies buying branded and generic drugs and manufacturers buying specialty-drug services. Watch its Pharmaceutical and Specialty Solutions business rather than its medical-supplies operations: that is where the overlap with DataMeds’ drug distribution and manufacturer services sits.
Fed Interest Rate Decision
The Fed’s decision on its policy interest rate matters to DataMeds because Wellgistics LLC’s revolving debt is priced against SOFR, so rates affect the interest the business pays and the cash it has for operations.

If it comes in above expectations
Higher rates would raise interest costs on Wellgistics LLC’s rate-linked revolving debt, leaving less cash for inventory, distribution and other operations.
If it comes in below expectations
Lower rates would reduce interest costs on Wellgistics LLC’s rate-linked revolving debt, easing cash pressure on inventory, distribution and other operations.
Cencora, Inc. earningsCOR
Cencora’s report will show how its drug-supply business is doing, a signal of whether DataMeds’ pharmacy can keep sourcing medicines under their purchase requirements.
Read Cencora’s pharmaceutical distribution results alongside the supply arrangement’s monthly-purchase and generic-compliance requirements. A steady distribution business is consistent with DataMeds’ pharmacy being able to meet those requirements and fill prescriptions; strain at Cencora or in the relationship would raise the risk of finding a replacement supplier on less favorable terms or having fewer medicines available to dispense.
