Hospitals and independent imaging centers buy Lantheus Holdings, Inc’s agents to help doctors see disease more clearly during scans. PYLARIFY supplies most of the company’s revenue: it helps PET/CT scans locate prostate-cancer lesions. DEFINITY is the next-largest product and improves heart ultrasound images when they are otherwise unclear. Neuraceq helps brain PET scans reveal amyloid plaques in adults being evaluated for cognitive decline and can help select patients for certain Alzheimer’s treatments.
Selling PYLARIFY and Neuraceq depends on getting freshly made doses to imaging providers the same day, because their radioactive ingredient decays rapidly. Lantheus relies on partner manufacturing networks, and each site needs separate FDA approval for each product. Purchases also depend on insurance coverage and reimbursement, particularly Medicare; payment differences between agents can influence which product providers choose. Neuraceq demand also depends on adoption of amyloid imaging and treatments that use it to select patients.
Smaller revenue sources include supplying products for clinical trials, providing drug-development and manufacturing services through Evergreen, and collecting licensing royalties and milestone payments. GE Healthcare, for example, commercializes Flyrcado under a license from Lantheus.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Lantheus’s results hinge chiefly on PYLARIFY pricing and scan volumes amid competition from privately held Bracco’s Blue Earth Diagnostics, while Curium commercializes its licensed European product PYLCLARI.
Telix sells Illuccix and Gozellix to locate prostate cancer on PET scans, competing with Lantheus’s PYLARIFY for imaging orders and reimbursement. Watch Gozellix’s separate U.S. Medicare hospital-outpatient payment, effective for three years from October 1, 2025, while PYLARIFY receives lower payments than under its former transitional arrangement.
Novartis competes with Lantheus for prostate-cancer imaging sales and, through its neuroendocrine-tumor radiotherapy business, with Lantheus’s PNT2003 program. Its patent lawsuit against Lantheus makes the court’s decision following the December 2025 trial a development to watch for PNT2003.
GE HealthCare sells hospitals diagnostic products that compete with Lantheus’s ultrasound-enhancing and brain-amyloid imaging agents, but also pays Lantheus under licenses for Flyrcado and Japanese piflufolastat rights. Flyrcado sales generate royalties for Lantheus, while Japanese piflufolastat development and sales can bring milestone and royalty payments.
Eli Lilly sells a PET imaging agent that detects brain beta-amyloid plaques, competing with Lantheus’s Neuraceq for Alzheimer’s diagnostic and treatment-selection scans. Watch its use in scans to select patients for amyloid-targeting treatment—the same use added to Neuraceq’s approved indications in 2025.
Novartis AG earningsNVS
Novartis’s report will show how its prostate-cancer imaging business is doing, offering a read on the competition facing Lantheus’s PYLARIFY.
Look for sales or demand signals from Novartis’s prostate-cancer imaging business. Stronger results would suggest more competition for Lantheus’s PYLARIFY orders; weaker results would point to less pressure from this rival, but would not resolve the separate PNT2003 patent case.
GE HealthCare Technologies Inc. earningsGEHC
GE HealthCare’s report will show how Flyrcado sales and Japanese piflufolastat activity are progressing, both of which can bring Lantheus royalties or milestone payments.
Watch for Flyrcado sales and development or sales progress for piflufolastat in Japan. Growing Flyrcado sales can generate tiered royalties for Lantheus; Japanese activity that reaches agreed milestones may bring milestone payments or sales royalties. Little progress in either would mean less support from partner revenue, while GE HealthCare’s competing products bear on the competition for Lantheus’s own products.
Eli Lilly & Co. earningsLLY
Lilly’s report will show how its amyloid PET agent is being used to select patients for targeted treatment, a direct competitive use for Lantheus’s Neuraceq.
Look for use of Lilly’s amyloid PET agent to select patients for treatment. Rising use would signal stronger competition for these scans, where Neuraceq also has an approved role; weaker use would suggest less pressure from this use, but Lilly’s results alone cannot establish Neuraceq sales.
Lantheus Holdings, Inc earningsThis company
Lantheus’s report will show whether PYLARIFY sales volume can offset net price pressure on the company’s largest product and its gross profit.
Read PYLARIFY revenue alongside gross profit. Steady revenue with less pressure on gross profit would suggest dose demand is offsetting the effect of lower net prices; weaker revenue and continued gross-profit pressure would show that competition and reimbursement differences are still squeezing Lantheus’s core product.
