Company

Company overview

Helport AI’s main product, AI Assist, guides customer-service and sales representatives during conversations and helps supervisors monitor service quality. Its direct customers include outsourcing firms such as Baojiang and Pengbosheng, which use the software to serve banks, insurers and other enterprises. These firms pay monthly subscriptions for selected software packages plus a commission tied to the service fees generated by agents using AI Assist. This software business supplies almost all revenue; a much smaller business combines the software with customer-contact agents supplied to clients.

Most customers are in China, and Baojiang, Pengbosheng and Blue Legend together supply most revenue. The business therefore depends heavily on these customers continuing to use AI Assist. Helport AI also relies substantially on development partner Tianjin Youfei Shuke Technology Group for underlying AI capabilities, model training and product development.

Because Helport AI has no operating entity in China, it routes customer receipts and supplier payments through Xinsheng Technology (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. Collecting cash depends on that agent transferring payments and on Chinese foreign-exchange rules permitting customers to send money to Singapore.

  • eGain competes with Helport for spending on software that helps customer-service staff answer questions and use company knowledge: eGain sells AI agents, knowledge hubs and conversation tools, while Helport sells real-time guidance and knowledge-base software. Watch eGain's sales to large enterprises and government organizations, its main customers, for evidence of demand in this market.

  • Xiao-I competes with Helport's AI Assist for enterprise spending on automating customer contact, offering conversational AI and intelligent customer-service solutions where Helport provides real-time guidance to customer-contact staff.

  • SoundHound AI's voice-based customer-service automation overlaps with Helport's software for guiding customer-contact staff, as Helport researches converting customer speech into text. Watch SoundHound's subscriptions for services such as restaurant customer service and food ordering—the part of its business closest to this overlap, rather than royalties from voice-enabled products.

  • YXT competes with Helport in software that businesses buy to coach sales staff and manage company knowledge: SaleSmart overlaps with Helport's AI sales guidance, and NeoLearning with its client-specific knowledge-base tools. Watch developments in those two products rather than YXT's broader enterprise-software offering.
