Company

Company overview

Global Interactive Technologies, Inc. develops and operates Faning, a mobile and web platform where fans of K-pop and other Korean entertainment share content, communicate across languages and organize communities. Fans buy Vote Packages to participate in community activities and paid Boosts to give their support for artists or content more visibility. Premium subscriptions provide another source of user payments, while advertisers pay for targeted display ads and sponsored content.

Faning remains in early commercialization, with limited revenue coming mainly from its initial platform activities. Turning this model into a meaningful business depends on attracting active users, keeping them engaged and securing continued funding. Faning evolved from Fantoo, but the company had not migrated or reactivated that platform’s historical user base by the end of 2025.

Operations and most users are based in Korea, where privacy rules require consent for data use and constrain how the company handles personal information. The company does not offer services or allow user access in China, including Hong Kong and Macau.

Know what’s buried in GITS’s filings before you buy

The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.

GITS’s results hinge on funding Faning and turning its users into paying fans, with Weverse and Lysn—not shown here—its more focused K-pop fandom rivals.

  • Reddit competes with GITS’s Faning for participation in user-created communities and for businesses paying to reach those audiences; Faning also charges fans for votes, boosts and subscriptions. Watch Reddit’s revenue from ads placed around users’ interests and conversations against Faning’s plan to grow advertising with user engagement.

  • Meta Platforms’ Facebook and Instagram compete with GITS’s Faning for social-community engagement and advertisers paying to reach those audiences. Watch advertising revenue in Meta’s Family of Apps segment: advertising supplied substantially all of Meta’s revenue in 2025, while Faning’s fan payments and advertising remained early-stage and generated no material revenue.
