Green Circle Decarbonize Technology Limited helps customers reduce the electricity used by central air-conditioning systems through its subsidiary, Boca International Limited. Its BocaPCM-TES technology uses phase-change materials to store thermal energy for later use, allowing cooling to shift from peak to off-peak electricity periods. Most revenue comes from construction work: customers pay it to design, supply and install cooling systems, including chiller plants and cooling towers.
It also earns fees tied to customers’ electricity-cost savings. At Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (HAECO), Green Circle finances, owns, operates and maintains an Ultra-High Efficiency Boca Hybrid Power Chiller Plant. HAECO pays no upfront installation fee and instead pays Green Circle a share of the savings, confirmed through monthly performance reports. This model requires Green Circle to fund equipment and installation before collecting fees, and its income depends on sustained system performance and customer payments.
Revenue comes mainly from Hong Kong and is heavily concentrated in HAECO and Macau University of Science and Technology Foundation – University Hospital. Production also depends on a single German supplier of nanomaterials, purchased order by order without a long-term agreement.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Green Circle’s results depend heavily on bespoke Hong Kong and Macau projects, especially major customer HAECO, whose electricity-cost savings determine recurring service fees.
Johnson Controls competes for building owners who could choose Green Circle’s chiller-plant upgrades, selling them commercial air-conditioning equipment, controls and energy-saving solutions. Its retrofit and replacement business is the part to watch for competition over those customers’ spending.
Carrier offers customers conventional chiller plants and energy-saving systems instead of Green Circle’s systems that store cooling for later use. Its new-equipment business is the relevant competitive line, though its reported sales cover more than chillers.
Tecogen gives commercial and industrial customers alternatives to both buying Green Circle’s chillers and using plants Green Circle owns: it sells chillers and also owns systems that sell cooling under long-term agreements. Watch its cooling sales under those agreements, while noting that Green Circle charges according to customers’ electricity-cost savings.

Johnson Controls' report will show how much building owners are spending on chiller retrofits and replacements, and how strongly it is competing for projects Green Circle could pursue.
Look at Johnson Controls' retrofit and replacement sales and orders. Growth would show building owners are still funding equipment upgrades, creating more projects Green Circle can pursue but also stronger competition from Johnson Controls. A decline would point to fewer opportunities and less competitive pressure.
