Company

Company overview

Flexible Solutions International’s main business is built around biodegradable polymers called TPAs, made by its NanoChem Solutions subsidiary and sold directly to users or through distributors. Industrial customers use them to prevent corrosion and mineral buildup in water pipes, including in oil and gas operations. Farmers use them to help crops take up fertilizer nutrients. Agricultural brands include EX-10 and Amisorb; the company also sells SUN 27 and N Savr 30 to slow nitrogen loss from fields. The division that sells these products generates most of the company’s revenue and also makes and sells food-grade products.

A much smaller business sells HEATSAVR for pools and spas and WATERSAVR for reservoirs and other water-storage or conveyance systems. These products form a surface layer that slows evaporation; in pools, this also helps retain heat. WATERSAVR has approval for drinking-water use in the United States from the National Sanitation Foundation, but individual uses may still require state or county approval.

Sales depend heavily on a small group of large customers, so losing any one could substantially reduce revenue. Demand also depends on oil and gas activity and agricultural conditions. TPA production uses an ingredient imported from China whose cost is exposed to crude-oil prices and tariffs.

FSI’s results hinge on demand for its polymers and agricultural nitrogen-conservation products: watch named direct TPA competitor Lanxess AG and the three unnamed customers that accounted for half of 2025 sales.

  • Flotek Industries, Inc. and FSI both depend on oilfield chemical demand: Flotek supplies chemicals for well operations, while FSI sells oil and gas companies polymers that prevent corrosion and scale in water piping.
