Kandal M Venture Limited serves global fashion brands through its operating subsidiary FMF. Its engineers turn customers’ designs and specifications into products suitable for manufacturing, mainly handbags, with smaller leather goods such as wallets. Customers approve samples and place orders specifying prices, delivery and payment terms; FMF then manufactures the goods at its Cambodian factory and supplies them to those customers. The parent is a holding company and relies on subsidiary distributions for cash.
A small number of customers provide all revenue, and one accounts for most of it. These brands are headquartered in the United States, which is also the main consumer market for the company’s products. Customers order individually rather than under long-term agreements, so repeat business depends on their products selling and their willingness to keep using FMF.
All production depends on the Cambodian factory, with material and labor costs affecting what the company earns from each order. Operations require Cambodian licenses and approvals. Customers also authorize FMF to use their trademarks for specified products, factories and periods; those authorizations can limit subcontracting and how customer inventory is handled.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Kandal's results hinge on orders from a handful of fashion brands, with one unnamed customer contributing 74.2% of revenue; watch these companies for demand signals, not as confirmed customers.
Tapestry and Kandal both depend on branded handbag demand: Tapestry sells Coach and Kate Spade bags and accessories to consumers and retailers, while fashion brands pay Kandal to manufacture bags and small leather goods. Watch Coach and Kate Spade sales for demand signals, not evidence that Tapestry buys from Kandal.
Capri and Kandal share exposure to handbag demand: Capri sells Michael Kors luxury accessories to consumers and retailers, while Kandal manufactures affordable-luxury handbags for fashion brands, with no confirmed customer relationship between them. Watch Michael Kors revenue for a demand signal; it accounted for approximately 83% of Capri's revenue in fiscal 2026.
Vera Bradley and Kandal both depend on U.S. consumers' willingness to spend on handbags: Vera Bradley sells women's bags and accessories to consumers and retailers largely through U.S. channels, while fashion brands pay Kandal to manufacture handbags serving that market. Watch Vera Bradley's U.S. store and online sales for a read on that spending.

Tapestry's report will show how Coach and Kate Spade handbag sales are changing, offering a demand signal for the fashion brands Kandal serves.
Read Coach and Kate Spade handbag sales together. If both hold up or grow, demand for these brands' bags looks resilient, a supportive signal for manufacturers serving similar brands; if both fall, branded-bag demand looks pressured and could eventually weigh on Kandal's orders. If they diverge, demand differs by brand and the report is not a clear market-wide signal. Tapestry is not a confirmed Kandal customer, and its sales do not establish Kandal's orders.
Retail Sales MoM (Oct)
U.S. retail sales track how much consumers spend at stores, and stronger demand for Kandal M Venture’s fashion-brand customers’ handbags and leather goods may bring more production orders and sales for its Cambodian factory.
For Kandal M Venture, stronger retail sales suggest fashion-brand customers may see healthier demand and place more handbag and leather-goods orders; weaker sales suggest they may cut orders, reducing factory revenue.
