Elicio Therapeutics is developing treatments for cancer patients with limited treatment options. Its AMP platform is designed to deliver immune-stimulating materials to lymph nodes, where they are intended to help the immune system respond to cancer. Its lead candidate, ELI-002 7P, targets specific KRAS mutations and is in a Phase 2 trial for pancreatic cancer. Other candidates remain in preclinical development.
The company has not generated revenue and has no approved products. Investors and lenders have supplied most of its operating funds, which mainly support research and development. It needs additional capital to continue development and is also seeking funding through licensing and collaborations. Any eventual product-sales income would depend on regulatory approval and government and private insurers’ coverage and reimbursement.
Elicio depends substantially on an exclusive license from MIT for the AMP technology used in ELI-002 and other programs. It cannot market its candidates in the United States without FDA approval. ELI-002 also needs testing to identify patients with qualifying KRAS mutations; Elicio expects a separately authorized companion diagnostic to be needed before commercialization.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Elicio’s prospects hinge on ELI-002 clinical results and financing; watch Roche/Genentech’s competing pancreatic and colorectal cancer vaccines developed with BioNTech.
Revolution Medicines could narrow Elicio’s opportunity in mutant-KRAS pancreatic cancer by developing drugs that block RAS rather than using a vaccine. Its Phase 3 pancreatic cancer trial of RMC-6236 is the result to watch alongside Elicio’s Phase 2 ELI-002 7P program.
BioNTech competes directly with Elicio in pancreatic and colorectal cancer vaccines, using personalized vaccines developed with Roche/Genentech rather than Elicio’s off-the-shelf approach. Those Phase 2 trial results matter more to this rivalry than BioNTech’s commercial COVID-19 vaccine business.
Erasca offers a competing drug approach to the mutant-KRAS cancers Elicio targets with immunotherapies, developing inhibitors that block multiple RAS or KRAS variants. Watch clinical results for ERAS-0015 and ERAS-4001; Erasca had no approved products or revenue as of December 31, 2025.
BridgeBio Oncology Therapeutics is pursuing drugs for KRAS-mutant tumors that Elicio seeks to treat with vaccines. Watch clinical progress for BBO-8520, BBO-11818 and BBO-10203, including its proposed inhibitor combinations; none of its candidates is approved for sale.
Immuneering’s pancreatic cancer drug development overlaps Elicio’s mutant-KRAS immunotherapies, but uses a once-daily oral drug that blocks MEK, part of a cancer-signaling pathway. Watch pancreatic cancer results for atebimetinib (IMM-1-104), especially whether they support Immuneering’s stated aims of more durable effects and better tolerability.
Moderna’s personalized cancer vaccine with Merck offers a competing approach to Elicio’s off-the-shelf vaccines, though the cited Phase 3 trial is in melanoma. Watch that vaccine’s clinical results rather than Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine sales to assess this competition.
Verastem’s licensed clinical KRAS G12D program overlaps Elicio’s mutant-KRAS treatment development, while Verastem already sells AVMAPKI FAKZYNJA CO-PACK in the United States. Watch the G12D program for the closer competitive signal: its marketed therapy treats adults with KRAS-mutated recurrent low-grade serous ovarian cancer after prior systemic therapy, not Elicio’s lead pancreatic cancer indication.
Silexion Therapeutics offers a competing approach to Elicio’s pancreatic cancer vaccine: SIL204 is designed to stop mutant KRAS protein production by breaking down its messenger RNA. Watch its planned combination with chemotherapy in unresectable, locally advanced pancreatic cancer with KRAS G12D/V mutations, its initial patient group.
Adlai Nortye’s RAS-blocking drugs and cancer immunotherapies overlap Elicio’s mutant-KRAS oncology focus. Watch Phase 1 results for its oral AN9025, which blocks active forms of multiple RAS variants; ASK Pharm holds development, manufacturing and sales rights in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao, with Adlai Nortye eligible for payments and sales royalties.
Revolution Medicines, Inc. earningsRVMD
Revolution Medicines’ report will show progress on its Phase 3 pancreatic cancer drug RMC-6236, a potential rival for the patients Elicio hopes to treat with ELI-002.
Look for clear progress or results from RMC-6236’s Phase 3 pancreatic cancer trial, bearing in mind that Elicio’s ELI-002 is still in Phase 2. Strong progress or results would make another drug approach for pancreatic cancer a more credible rival and could narrow Elicio’s chance to reach patients; limited or delayed progress would leave that competitive threat unproven.

Elicio’s report will show how much cash it used and how ELI-002 7P advanced, revealing whether its funds can support further development.
Read the cash balance alongside cash used in operations, then check ELI-002 7P’s progress. Slower cash use with continued progress would give Elicio more time to develop the program before seeking funds; faster cash use without matching progress would bring financing or cuts closer.
