Blue Gold Limited is pursuing two connected businesses: developing gold mines and letting people own smaller portions of physical gold through digital tokens. Its Bogoso Prestea Mine in Ghana is halted, and the company cannot access the site while it disputes mining rights and control with the government. Restarting requires a favorable resolution, permits and funding. Under its offtake agreement, the mine must sell its output to Gerald Metals for an extended period once deliveries begin.
The planned digital business combines gold trading with Standard Gold Coin (SGC), a token intended to represent allocated physical gold. Blue Gold is developing the Electronic Transaction Application (ETA) so users can acquire, hold, transfer and redeem tokens. Its UAE subsidiary, Blue Goldmine FZCO, has agreements to buy gold from Hudson Dunes and finance eligible trades. Blue Gold would earn margins from onward sales or tokenization of that gold, sharing those margins with Hudson Dunes; drawing on the trading facility requires cash collateral.
SGC and ETA remain under development, and neither launch nor user adoption is assured. Their availability also depends on financial-services and digital-asset rules, which may require licenses or restrict activity in particular markets. For now, Blue Gold relies on external financing to fund its projects and ongoing activities rather than having a self-funding operating business.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Blue Gold Limited's prospects hinge on mine development and gold trading and tokenization, with Hudson Dunes—not Hudson Technologies—as an important contracted gold supplier and financing partner.
Royal Gold's right to buy 5.5% of payable gold from Blue Gold Limited's Bogoso Prestea mine at 30% of the spot price leaves Blue Gold less gold to sell at full market value. Royal Gold buys rights to mine output rather than operating mines; its gold deliveries from Bogoso Prestea are the concrete link to watch.
Mayfair Gold Corp. shares Blue Gold Limited's exposure to gold prices and the funding needed to develop gold mines. Its Fenn-Gib project had not begun commercial production as of its annual information form, leaving it with no operating revenue or operating cash flow—a development-stage comparison, not a gold-sales benchmark.
International Tower Hill Mines, Ltd. shares Blue Gold Limited's exposure to whether gold projects can earn enough to justify development and attract funding. Its wholly owned Livengood project in Alaska had neither begun extracting mineralization nor reached commercial production as of December 31, 2025, so watch its development progress rather than gold sales.
U.S. Gold Corp. offers a comparison for Blue Gold Limited's mine-development ambitions, with both exposed to gold prices and access to construction funding. U.S. Gold says its Wyoming CK Gold project has all permits needed to begin construction; progress from permits to construction is the milestone to watch.
Aura Minerals Inc.'s operating mines provide a comparison for the economics Blue Gold Limited seeks from gold mining: Aura earns revenue by selling mined gold and copper to buyers in worldwide markets. Gold accounted for 73% of its revenue in 2025, making that revenue line the closest comparison to Blue Gold's intended mining business.
Dakota Gold Corp. parallels Blue Gold Limited's gold-asset development business, with exposure to exploration economics and the availability of development capital. Dakota had no operating revenue and had begun neither development nor mining as of the year ended December 31, 2025; watch exploration results that could move its U.S. properties toward development.
Royal Gold Inc earningsRGLD
Royal Gold's report will show how gold deliveries from Bogoso Prestea affect the output Blue Gold can sell at full market value.
Read Royal Gold's reported Bogoso Prestea deliveries against its right to 5.5% of payable gold for 30% of spot. More deliveries mean more output goes to Royal Gold and less remains for Blue Gold to sell at full market value; fewer mean less gold is being taken under the right. Neither outcome shows that Blue Gold can access or restart the mine.
Aura Minerals Inc. earningsAUGO
Aura Minerals' report will show how its operating mines turn gold production into revenue and profit, offering a comparison for the mining business Blue Gold seeks to develop.
Read Aura Minerals' gold sales alongside its mining costs. Revenue holding up better than costs would show stronger economics at its operating mines, a more favorable comparison for the mining business Blue Gold seeks to develop; costs weighing more heavily on revenue would show how mining costs can squeeze profit even when gold is sold. This describes Aura's mines, not what Bogoso Prestea could earn or whether it can restart.
International Tower Hill Mines, Ltd. earningsTHM
International Tower Hill Mines' report will show whether its pre-production Livengood project is advancing or attracting funding, a comparison for Blue Gold's mine-development challenge.
Look for concrete progress at Livengood and funding to move the project forward. Both would show an unproducing gold project advancing toward development; little progress alongside a lack of funding would show the distance between a gold resource and a mine that can be developed. This is a comparison for Blue Gold's ambitions, not a resolution of the Bogoso Prestea control dispute or evidence that Blue Gold can restart.
