Altisource Portfolio Solutions S.A. mainly serves U.S. customers that need help managing mortgages and properties. Most revenue comes from its Servicer and Real Estate business, especially paid work such as inspecting and maintaining properties, handling foreclosure proceedings, renovating homes and completing property transactions. It also helps customers sell properties through its Hubzu online auction platform and brokerage services, earning transaction fees and commissions, and supplies software to manage loans and properties.
Its smaller Origination business helps lenders prepare and complete new mortgages. Much of this business comes through Lenders One, a mortgage cooperative that Altisource manages but does not own, providing management and member services. Loan fulfillment, valuation, title and settlement services support the lending process.
Onity is its largest customer and supplies a substantial share of revenue, mainly by ordering services for loan portfolios it services. Rithm is another important source of business: its former exclusive property brokerage agreement has expired, and continued property-management work and referrals are at Rithm’s discretion. Revenue therefore depends heavily on these customers’ portfolios and service orders, as well as foreclosure, property-sale and mortgage-origination activity. Altisource must maintain licenses for regulated services, and foreclosure restrictions or limits on permitted auction and brokerage fees can constrain its work and earnings.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Altisource’s results depend on Onity and Rithm retaining and referring mortgage-servicing work, foreclosure and lender-owned property activity, and mortgage lenders’ demand through Lenders One.
Altisource depends heavily on Onity Group Inc., which manages mortgages for loan owners and buys Altisource’s mortgage services, accounting for 42% of Altisource’s 2025 revenue. Watch whether Onity loses servicing clients or faces restrictions on handling defaulted loans, either of which could reduce the work it sends to Altisource.
Rithm Capital Corp. pays Altisource to broker sales of lender-owned properties (REO), inspect properties and keep them maintained, while withdrawing mortgage portfolios from Onity also threatens Altisource’s revenue. The real-estate and financial-services asset manager said it did not intend to renew its agreements for Onity to service loans on its behalf effective January 31, 2026; Altisource said termination would reduce revenue from both Onity and Rithm.

Altisource's report will show whether growth in service revenue is improving its margins and cash flow.
Read service-revenue growth alongside gross margin, the share of service revenue left after direct service costs. Faster growth in lower-margin Property Renovations or Lenders One can pull that margin down, while a larger contribution from higher-margin Hubzu can support it. If margin improves and operating cash flow also strengthens, growth is converting into more profit and cash; if revenue grows while margin or cash flow weakens, the business mix is still weighing on results.
Fed Interest Rate Decision
Altisource’s Fed interest-rate decision tracks the policy rate that helps shape borrowing costs, which can change the interest it pays on its floating-rate debt and the cash left for its mortgage and real-estate services.

If it comes in above expectations
If the Fed sets rates higher than expected, interest on Altisource’s debt can rise, leaving less cash to fund its services or repay debt.
If it comes in below expectations
If the Fed sets rates lower than expected, interest on Altisource’s debt can fall, easing cash demands for debt service and leaving more cash for its services.
Onity Group Inc. earningsONIT
Onity's report will show how much mortgage-servicing business it retains and whether it can handle defaulted loans, shaping the work Altisource gets from its largest customer.
Watch the size of Onity's serviced and subserviced loan portfolios, changes in its clients, and any limits on handling delinquent loans. Stable portfolios without significant client losses, alongside continued ability to work delinquent loans, would support ongoing service demand for Altisource. A shrinking book or restrictions on default-related work could mean fewer orders for Altisource and put revenue from its largest customer under pressure.
