Fortinet sells network-security equipment, software and services that protect businesses' connected systems. Recent surveys point to stronger cybersecurity budgets, and reporting describes criminals using AI attack tools. Neither establishes that customers have already bought more protection. This report can test whether security needs are becoming purchases and recurring service revenue, providing operating evidence for the industry.[1]
Watch product sales and service revenue separately, whether customers expand purchases, and the discounts and selling costs required to win business. Growing purchases with healthy profitability would support cybersecurity and sales-channel stocks. Budgets that fail to become orders, or growth dependent on discounting, could challenge peers' revenue and margin expectations. For customers, extra protection initially costs money; avoided disruption needs separate evidence. Fortinet's product mix also means its results cannot represent every security-software vendor.[1]
