Company

Company overview

Jin Medical International Ltd. makes mobility products for people with disabilities, older people and people recovering from injury. Manual wheelchairs are its main products, and wheelchairs generate most of its revenue; components and living aids provide smaller revenue streams. Dealers buy its products and distribute them to end users. Most sales are products made to customers’ specifications and sold under customers’ brands, alongside products carrying the Changzhou Zhongjin brand.

Japan is its largest market. Nissin Medical Industries Co., Ltd., its sole Japanese distributor, buys wheelchairs made to its specifications and sells them under Nissin’s brands. Nissin and its subsidiaries supply most of Jin Medical’s revenue, making their orders central to the business. The sales framework renews annually but does not commit Nissin to purchases.

The Cayman Islands holding company operates through China-based Changzhou Zhongjin and its subsidiaries, relying on contracts rather than controlling equity ownership. Chinese rules restrict transfers of funds to the offshore company. Its wheelchairs and living aids are also regulated as medical devices in China, with compulsory standards and safety and technical inspections that can interrupt production or sales if products fail.

Jin Medical’s results depend heavily on wheelchair orders from Nissin Medical Industries and its subsidiaries, which accounted for about 71% of fiscal 2025 revenue; yen–RMB exchange rates affect how much those purchases cost Nissin.
