Xeris Biopharma Holdings sells Recorlev, Gvoke and Keveyis, with Recorlev and Gvoke together providing most of its revenue. Recorlev treats excess cortisol in adults with Cushing’s syndrome when surgery is not an option or has not worked. Gvoke is ready-to-use glucagon for severe low blood sugar in people with diabetes, while Keveyis treats primary periodic paralysis, a condition that causes episodes of muscle weakness or paralysis.
Wholesalers and specialty pharmacies buy its medicines and resell them to retail pharmacies or patients. A small group of customers accounts for nearly all product revenue. Patient access depends on coverage and reimbursement from insurers and government health programs; negotiated discounts and required rebates also affect how much Xeris receives from sales.
Xeris outsources manufacturing and distribution rather than operating its own facilities. Recorlev depends on Regis Technologies for its active ingredient and Lonza Tampa for its finished tablets, each the sole source for that step. Keeping medicines available therefore depends on outside suppliers as well as patient demand. Xeris may promote its medicines only for approved uses, and its suppliers must meet drug-manufacturing and quality requirements.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
Xeris’s growth depends heavily on Recorlev winning patients against competing hypercortisolism treatments, so watch Recordati’s Isturisa and Signifor even though Recordati is absent from this list.
Corcept Therapeutics Inc. competes for the U.S. hypercortisolism patients behind Xeris’s Recorlev growth, selling Korlym and its authorized generic for the same condition. Watch physicians’ choice of those treatments versus Recorlev: increased patient demand drove Recorlev’s revenue growth in 2025.
Amphastar Pharmaceuticals, Inc. competes with Xeris’s ready-to-use Gvoke for treating severe hypoglycemia, selling Baqsimi nasal glucagon and generic emergency glucagon injection kits. Its Baqsimi and glucagon business is the part to watch for competition against Gvoke, which generated $94.108 million in net revenue in 2025.
Beta Bionics, Inc. pays Xeris to use its glucagon formulation technology in a planned iLet pump that delivers both insulin and glucagon, providing development milestone payments and potential royalties if commercialized. Beta Bionics already sells insulin-delivering iLet pumps for Type 1 diabetes; watch FDA approval of glucagon for chronic use and authorization of the dual-hormone iLet setting, both needed to commercialize the planned system.
Fed Interest Rate Decision
Xeris’s Fed rate decision tracks the cost of borrowing across the economy; because its $200 million of term loans have floating rates, higher borrowing costs can leave less cash for commercialization and reduce earnings.

If it comes in above expectations
If the Fed sets rates higher than expected, Xeris may pay more interest as its floating-rate loans reprice, leaving less cash for selling and developing its therapies.

Corcept Therapeutics Inc. earningsCORT
Corcept Therapeutics’ report will show demand for Korlym and its authorized generic in the same U.S. hypercortisolism market, a read-through to the patient market Xeris Biopharma is pursuing with Recorlev.
Look for changes in demand or sales for Corcept’s Korlym and authorized generic, and compare that signal with Xeris’s previously patient-demand-driven Recorlev growth. Stronger Corcept demand would show that this patient market remains active, but would not prove patients chose Korlym over Recorlev; weaker demand would point to a more difficult market for Xeris’s Recorlev growth. Neither outcome establishes patient movement between the drugs; the conclusion is whether market demand still supports Recorlev’s growth opportunity.
Xeris Biopharma Holdings, Inc. earningsThis company
Xeris Biopharma’s report will show whether patient demand for Recorlev is still driving product revenue and whether Gvoke and Keveyis are holding their ground.
Read Recorlev revenue alongside its net price, then compare both with Gvoke and Keveyis revenue. Recorlev growth without worsening price pressure, with Gvoke holding up and Keveyis stabilizing, would show growth extending beyond one product; slower Recorlev growth or greater price pressure alongside weakness in Gvoke and Keveyis would make revenue harder to sustain. Then check whether operating income and operating cash flow keep pace: if sales growth converts into operating profit and cash, commercialization is supporting the business; if not, revenue growth alone has not secured a durable path to profitability.
Amphastar Pharmaceuticals, Inc. earningsAMPH
Amphastar Pharmaceuticals’ report will show demand for Baqsimi and glucagon emergency kits, a competition signal for Xeris Biopharma’s ready-to-use Gvoke in severe hypoglycemia treatment.
Look at Amphastar’s Baqsimi and glucagon emergency-kit business alongside Xeris’s previously reported Gvoke revenue growth. Stronger demand for those alternatives would show that competing options are gaining traction and could pressure Gvoke’s growth; weaker demand could ease that competitive pressure, but would not prove Gvoke is gaining share. The report speaks to whether competing products have market support, not to Gvoke’s own sales.
