Company

Company overview

VivoPower’s Tembo business serves mining operators and other industrial customers that need vehicles for harsh working conditions. Customers buy kits that convert combustion-engine vehicles to battery power, vehicle ruggedization products and related services. Partners install and maintain the conversion kits. Tembo also offers the Tembo Tusker electric pickup. Revenue remains minimal, with electric vehicles providing most of it, and two customers contributing significant shares. Scaling sales depends on working-capital financing, component supplies and timely delivery; vehicles must also meet applicable road-use and industry-specific safety requirements.

Caret Digital provides a smaller revenue stream by mining Dogecoin using renewable energy. VivoPower also offers renewable-energy infrastructure for large energy users, including on-site generation, batteries and charging to support electric fleets, but this business is still developing and has not yet contributed revenue.

VivoPower holds XRP and plans to use equity and debt financing to buy more. Unlike its product sales, holding XRP produces no interest or other return: generating cash requires selling it or implementing income-generating strategies. This strategy depends on access to financing and XRP’s value and liquidity. Changes in digital-asset regulation could restrict the company’s ability to own or transfer XRP.
