Company overview

Veea Inc.’s SecureConnect lets telecommunications providers offer businesses broadband access, network management and AI-driven cybersecurity as a bundled service. It combines VeeaHub STAX devices with cloud-managed software. Business customers pay their provider monthly, and Veea receives a share of those charges. Telcel has commercially launched SecureConnect in Mexico under this model.

Its other commercial focus, AirLynx, helps providers deliver Internet and connected-device coverage where cellular service is absent or uneconomic. It distributes connections from fiber, cellular or satellite links over a managed Wi-Fi network. Veea sells VeeaHub equipment, provides network-design services and shares providers’ subscription revenue. StarGroup offers AirLynx Internet in Mexico, either on its own or bundled with pay TV.

Veea remains at an early commercial stage: revenue has mainly come from paid pilots of VeeaHub devices. Broader subscription income depends on service providers deploying its platforms and winning paying users; the company includes expected Telcel revenue in its operating-funding plans. Sanctions and import or export controls have restricted its ability to sell and support products in some jurisdictions, while telecommunications rules also affect what its service-provider customers can buy and sell.

With revenue still mainly from paid pilots, Veea’s outlook hinges on commercial rollouts and recurring subscriptions, especially through América Móvil-owned Telcel and StarGroup.

  • Veea relies on Viasat’s satellite connectivity to bring internet access to local users through AirLynx, with both companies sharing service revenue from their Mexican deployment. Watch whether that service generates recurring monthly revenue for both after its fourth-quarter 2025 commercial launch in Cuetzalingo.

  • Veea’s wireless-product sales depend in part on technology licensed from Qualcomm, which receives royalties generally based on a percentage of net sales where its patents are protected. That makes these product sales a source of licensing payments to Qualcomm as well as revenue for Veea.

  • Veea’s building-management offering relies on Honeywell’s Tridium Niagara 4 software, which it makes available to building owners and property managers on VeeaONE. Combined with Veea’s connectivity and cybersecurity services, it can support paid subscriptions to data from individual building functions.

  • Veea and Liberty Latin America are linked through regional connectivity expansion: Liberty sells broadband to homes and businesses and participated in Veea’s Panama AirLynx deployment. That network has operated continuously since 2021, giving Veea an operating example of its platform for service providers that pay for equipment and share service revenue.
