TaoWeave still earns most of its revenue from customers paying subscriptions for network connectivity. It buys connectivity from providers and resells it, alongside managed video-collaboration services. One customer supplies nearly all managed-services revenue and most company-wide revenue. Its legacy business also sells Mezzanine collaboration systems and support, but it has announced plans to end product and maintenance sales.
The company’s strategic focus is now acquiring and staking TAO, the native cryptocurrency of Bittensor. Most of its assets are held in TAO, although staking contributes a smaller share of revenue than its legacy operations. Through custodians and staking providers, including BitGo, it delegates tokens to network validators and receives a proportional share of their rewards after validator commissions. Bittensor pays these rewards in TAO directly into the company’s digital wallets, rather than in cash from customers.
This strategy depends on Bittensor’s staking rewards and the value of the TAO it holds. TaoWeave intends to operate outside investment-company status; if its assets are classified as securities, investment-company restrictions could make the planned business impractical. Other digital-asset registration requirements could also force it to change or discontinue activities.
The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.
Every company claims an edge. Each one is checked against hard numbers like margins and returns: which hold, and which line gives way first.
TaoWeave’s asset value hinges chiefly on Bittensor’s TAO price and staking rewards, while its legacy revenue relies heavily on one unnamed managed-services customer.
TaoWeave uses BitGo Holdings to put crypto assets to work earning network rewards through staking, so both businesses depend on staking economics; BitGo earns staking-related revenue and charges clients for custody and wallet services. Watch BitGo’s staking-service failures or downtime: these can expose TaoWeave’s staked assets to permanent losses.
AT&T competes for the business customers who pay TaoWeave to manage networks and video collaboration, putting pressure on its legacy service pricing. Watch AT&T’s bundled connectivity and managed-communications offerings: TaoWeave reports that similar bundled and standalone services create pricing pressure.
Verizon competes to supply business connectivity to customers who pay TaoWeave for managed network services, its largest revenue source. Verizon’s competing service offers matter more here than consumer wireless news: TaoWeave’s network-services revenue fell in 2025 mainly because some customer locations disconnected.
TELUS competes with TaoWeave for customers paying for managed network services, the legacy activity that generates most of TaoWeave’s revenue. TELUS’s similar services, sold bundled or separately, add pricing pressure to that business even as TaoWeave shifts its focus toward TAO.
AT&T Inc. earningsT
AT&T’s report will show how businesses are buying bundled connectivity and managed communications, the services that compete with TaoWeave’s offerings for business customers.
Look for signs of demand for AT&T’s bundled connectivity and managed-communications services. Resilient demand would show that businesses are still buying services that compete with TaoWeave’s, sustaining pressure on its pricing; weaker demand could ease that pressure, but would not establish that TaoWeave is retaining its own customers.
TaoWeave, Inc. earningsThis company
TaoWeave’s report will show whether TAO staking rewards are adding revenue as its network-services business faces pressure and Mezzanine products wind down.
Read Digital Assets revenue alongside Managed Services revenue, and note how concentrated sales remain among a few customers. Rising staking-related revenue with steady managed-services revenue would show the new activity is adding income before the legacy business fades; little staking revenue with falling managed-services revenue would show the transition has not filled that gap, while a small number of customers still drive sales.
BitGo Holdings, Inc. earningsBTGO
BitGo Holdings’ report will show how its staking and custody services are operating; TaoWeave relies on those services to hold and stake TAO for network rewards.
Watch for disclosures about staking-service reliability, downtime, or failures. Reliable operations would support TaoWeave’s route to TAO rewards through custody and validator delegation; outages or failures would highlight the risk of interrupted rewards or permanent loss of staked assets.
