Company

Company overview

ReposiTrak helps retailers, wholesalers and their suppliers check supplier compliance, manage supplier relationships, and capture and share records needed to trace food through the supply chain. Its customers are mainly in U.S. food and consumer retail markets. Retailers and wholesalers typically bring their suppliers onto the platform by requiring them to use its services.

A substantial share of revenue comes from monthly subscriptions and professional services charged to new customers. This model depends on retailers and wholesalers bringing suppliers into the network and on customers continuing to subscribe; customers have no obligation to renew after their initial terms.

Demand for its traceability software also depends partly on food-safety requirements. The U.S. food traceability rule known as FSMA 204 applies to foods on the FDA Food Traceability List. Its compliance deadline has been extended, and further delays or weaker enforcement could slow customers’ adoption of ReposiTrak’s software.

The risk section is the longest, dullest part of the filing. This keeps only what can really hurt you: where it hits, how hard, when it plays out.

ReposiTrak’s results hinge chiefly on food-supply-chain compliance and traceability requirements, and on retailers and wholesalers requiring suppliers to adopt its platform.

  • SPAR Group Inc matters to ReposiTrak as an investment and commercial partner, not a direct rival: following its July 2026 acquisition, ReposiTrak owns roughly 31% and provides product-development and operational services. Watch SPAR’s revenue from helping retailers, consumer-goods manufacturers and distributors present and market products in stores when assessing that investment.
